Suga

S:"y/n!!! The shows about to start!"
Y/n: "coming coming"

Suga and I have been best friends for years. Every Sunday night we have to watch our favorite romcom. We both love making fun of the cheesy characters and the cliché moments.

I sprint over to the couch and sit next to Suga. As usual we laugh and joke around during the movie. When it ends the tv goes black and we are left in the dark. We sit like that for a long time just enjoying the calmness.

S: "y/n?"
y/n: "ne?"
S: "have you ever felt like that?"
Y/n: "felt like what?"
S: "felt that cliché feeling?"
Y/n: "huh?"
S: "you know. Love"
Y/n: "I don't know. I don't think so. Have you?"
S: "oh. I don't know either"

I could feel the atmosphere change somehow. I began thinking about suga in love with some girl. I can't deny it. I felt jealous thinking about it.

S: "what do you think it feels like?"
Y/n: "I don't know. Like a friendship I guess."
S: "friendship? How?"
Y/n: "you know, trust and unconditional love"
S: "so you love me?"
Y/n: "eh??"
S: "trust and unconditional love. Is that for me?"
Y/n: "well yes but love in a different way"
I feel him lean a little further away from me
S: "different way?"
Y/n: "yeah I-"
Just then he leans very close to me and whispers in my ear
S: "I love you y/n. I don't care if it's cliché. I love you. I've always loved you"

I turn my head so that our faces are inches from one another. I whisper back

Y/n: "I love you too. I really do."
