Suga

"Y/n, wake up!!" I jolt awake and look around. Where even am I? Oh.. still at school. I must've fell asleep again. I'm never ever able to sleep at home, I have too many nightmares.

"You need to get more sleep at home" I look over to see Suga, my best friend looking at me.

Y/n: "I know I know but I can't-"
S: "because of the nightmares." He finishes my sentence.
Y/n: "yeah. Anyway I'm fine. What time is it?"
S: "school ended about 20 minutes ago."

We walk home together. I'm living with his family for a few months while my parents are on a trip. His parents and siblings are so kind to me and it's awesome to get to live with my best friend.

"Hi, y/n and Suga!" His mom says, we both greet her warmly then go upstairs to our own rooms.

I work on some homework for a while until dinner is called. I go down and sit across the table from Suga. While we are eating I glance up at Suga and he's looking at me. I smile and then continue eating. I can still feel his stare on me.

Why is he looking at me like that? Do I have something on my face? I think.

After dinner I clean up the dishes then go back up to my room. I get into bed, hoping that I'll just fall asleep but I can't. Once I drift off I dream or horrible, terrifying images. I jolt awake screaming. I'm drenched in sweat and gasping for air.

I hear running outside my room and get even more scared. My door opens to reveal Suga.

S: "y/n are you okay?! I heard you scream"
I just nod, feeling myself shaking uncontrollably.

Suga comes closer and sees the state I'm in. He quickly gets in bed with me and holds me, telling me repeatedly that everything will be okay.

S: "it was just a dream. You're safe with me"
I lean back and slightly smile, showing appreciation for his comfort. He looks at me the same way he did at dinner. I look at him confused. He pulls me closer again and kisses me

S:" I love you y/n. I always have." I'm surprised by what he said but something inside of me changes and I can't see him as a friend anymore.
Y/n: "I love you too"
