College Love

Chapter 1.

      "Welcome back a six, five, junior. From Jacksonville, Florida. Give it up for number three, Grayson Allen!" Music blasted through Cameron Indoor, along with many screaming girls. He spotted the one girl that only mattered, he ran up and jumped on the wall that separated the Crazies from the court. Her eyes met his and she felt her heart flutter. He jumped down leaning over kissing her lips. "Forever." he mumbled only to feel her mumble, "Always." in return. He walked back over to the group of guys as Countdown continued. Jessica stood in her spot watching her team practice. After the event she made her way to the locker room area and waited for her man to walk out. She was greeted by Frank Jackson. "Hey!" Jessica's smile was set on her face. "Hey there! Sweet moves out here!" Frank chuckled and nodded "Thank you, thank you." Grayson walked out attacking his girlfriend with hugs and kisses, he smiled wide hearing her giggle. It was his favorite thing to hear. Matt was the last to walk out and Jess hugged him. "One last time, Bub. Let's do this." He chuckled into her hair and nodded. "Got it, Jess." Grayson pulled her hand gently and looked at her. "Come on, I wanna spend time with you. I have special things planned for you." Jess looked up to the guy who stole her heart, he lead the way out to his car and she got in leaning her head back. "Tired?" She nodded in reply to the question. "I am, but I am also starving." He chuckled and nodded and made his way to his apartment that he shared with Sophomore Luke Kennard. "Is he not here with Anna?" Grayson's head shook as he parked in front of the complex. "Nah, he is out with his parents for a while then I guess they will show up." Jessica shrugged her shoulders and followed her boyfriend into his apartment building. "Grayson James, this place is an absolute wreck." He nodded knowing she was right about it. But instead of cleaning the apartment, he swiftly picked up his girlfriend earning giggles from her while he kissed on her neck, he walked right into his bedroom laying her down as he slowly took his shirt off and that began the pile of clothes laying in the floor. 

The next morning Jess woke up to the sound of pots banging together and a few curse words, a chuckle escaped her lips as she got up and walked into the kitchen. "What are you guys doing?" Jess leaned on the counter as Anna spoke the words she was thinking. "Trying to surprise the two most important girls in our lives." Luke answered as Jessica took a piece of toast out of Grayson's hand. "Oh so your moms are coming by?" Grayson fake chuckled and kissed her forehead. "I forgot how hilarious you are." His sarcasm made Jess smile proudly. "Now I hope you never forget." Luke and Anna laughed at the couple they secretly wanted to be. Jess sat next to Anna on the bar and looked around the apartment. "You cleaned?" Grayson shot her a look that instantly made her bite into her toast to keep from saying her joke. "You know if you spent more time loving me, and less time giving me those looks Allen, we would be a power couple." He leaned over kissing her lips lovingly. "I love you, Brat." 

Later that day, the boys found themselves in the worst place they could be, the mall. Currently looking for the girls they lost about three stores into the shopping experience. "Where?" Luke asked on the phone nodding his head and nudged Grayson's shoulder and they made their way to the escalators, "On our way." Of course, Jessica being Jessica , she pulled Anna into Hallmark. "Jess! I told Luke we were three stores down!" Jess nodded and saw the boys walk by, little did she know Grayson saw his brown haired girlfriend and poked Luke. "I know." Jess replied as she looked through cards, Anna saw Grayson hold up a finger asking her to keep quiet. Grayson walked up to Jess, wrapping his arms around her waist causing a yelp to come from her lips. "You think it's funny to have us run all the way around the mall?" he whispered in his deep voice. Jess gasped softly, turning quickly and smiled sweetly. "I've been waiting right here for you, Gray." He rolled his eyes letting go of her and she kissed his cheek as they finally made their way out of  the mall. Luke kept Anna close and Grayson held Jessica's hand but they weren't close. Once in the car Grayson slid Jess close to him and kissed on his neck, and collar bone. "G, stop!" She whispered to him and groaned. "No sex in the backseat of my car!" Jessica laughed and nodded. "Yes sir, Lucas, yes sir." Chuckles came from the drivers lips as they made their way back to campus. 

"STOP!" Jessica exclaimed from the backseat and Luke hit his breaks as Jessica got out of the car and ran up to Matt hugging him tightly. "Hey Bub." Grayson followed her and a growl like sound came from his lips. "Jessica Maree Blair! You scared me to death! Why did you scream like that?!" He went on a rant about they could've wrecked he then saw Matt standing in front of him and he nodded as he walked back to the car. "Uh oh, you're in trouble Jess." Matt joked and she nodded. "Yeah, he will get over it." Jess spoke looking at the car noticing Anna and Luke's apologetic looks, she waved them off letting them know it was okay to drive off. "Matt? Can I stay with you tonight?" He nodded and walked next to her. "Why did he get so mad?" She shrugged and looked down noticing no texts from her boyfriend. "I don't know, he's in a mood today I guess." Matt nodded and put his arm around the younger girl who he viewed as a sister. "Jess you cant keep stressing him out like this. I know you want to spend as much time with me as you can but, doll. I am not going anywhere. We are family, you are my sister and that will never ever change." Jessica nodded, Matt always knew when something was wrong with her, he always knew what that something was. Matt was like the Jessica mind reader. "I'm gonna go see my boyfriend, then I'll be over to your place. I promise." A nod was all she got before she walked away and to the apartments. Using her key she unlocked the door and walked into the apartment. "He's in his room." She walked down the hall and into the room, she jumped on the bed and whispered softly. "Do you still love me?" Two arms wrapped around her and a pair of lips were on hers. "Of course, I still love you. Look, Jess I know you are worried about Matt, and when he leaves but please don't shut me out." 

"I won't shut you out, I'm not shutting you out. I just I feel like I need to spend as much time with him as I can, cause when May comes around I know he won't be around as much, he will either go into the Draft or he will go back to DeSoto." She wiped a tear from her eyes. Grayson wrapped his arms around her tightly. "It's scary the future is a scary thing to think about. But you know what? It will be okay, I can't tell you what's going to happen but I can promise that I will always be there for you."
