Finally it's the Kansas game, the boys were feeling pretty confident going into it. We arrive in New York, I am rooming with Grayson and Luke. "No funny business! I mean it!" Coach Nolan shouted. Grayson chuckled and nodded his head quickly. "Yes sir, I'll be on my best behavior." We have a few hours before the game starts, we rest in the room and talk about nothing, like usual. "You nervous?" Grayson asked to his girlfriend. "No, I have faith in you boys." A knock at the door was a signal that we were suppose to leave they got up and headed to the door and out of the hotel and down to the bus, Jess however rode with Grayson's mother and father.

The end of the score was 75-77. Two points that broke the hearts of most Duke fans. Jess met up with Grayson. "You shouldn't have faith." Jess nodded her head and hugged him tightly. "I love you no matter what the out come to any game is." She held him close for a while, she knew how upset he was to lose this game. A feeling of nausea hit Jessica hard and she ran from Grayson's arms and into the bathroom leaving the boys with worried looks on their face. Coach gave Grayson the go ahead to go check on the young girl. Gray ran into the ladies bathroom luckily for him there weren't any fans left in the building. "Jessica?" He called out. "Jess?" He heard the gagging noise, and suddenly the door opened quickly. "Coach said she ran away quickly, what happened?" Matt went on about his best friend looking under stalls. "Jessica Maree." She slapped the door letting them know which stall she was in. She sat there for a moment trying to keep herself composed. Both guys stood there, Matt rubbed Grayson's back keeping his teammate calm. The stall opened and walked out a sluggish, pale, and weak, Jessica. "Baby?" Gray's voice was soft but full of worry. "Are you alright?" Jess nodded and went into his arms clinging to him. "Grayson? Coach wants you to take her by the ER before we leave tonight." Matt read the text to him and Grayson nodded his head. "Let's go, Sweet Girl."

Three hours, three in the morning. "Guys, go back to the hotel, everything will be fine. I will call you when we hear something." Matt shook his head at Grayson's words. "Matt, she is sleeping. I will call you." "No. That is my sister, I am not leaving her." Matt looked at Grayson as Jessica leaned over to Matt. "Go shower, come back, and I promise I will still be asleep." Her voice was weak as Matt nodded and kissed her forehead. "I love you, Bub. I am fine, I promise." He nodded and walked out of the room along with Chase, Luke, Amile, and Harry. "Do you need anything sweetheart?" With a shake of her head the doctor walked in. "Miss. Blair? Hi, I am doctor Klover. We got your tests back." She looked to Grayson and asked. "Husband?" He shook his head. "No, sir I am her boyfriend." The doctor nodded and looked to Jessica. "Well, I want to let you both know that, Miss. Jessica is has a stomach bug, I would suggest you not travel when you get back home so you can get back to one hundred percent." Jessica nodded and they got the discharge papers. Matt walked back in and she smiled. "I am fine, just a stomach bug." He eyed her carefully and he wrapped his arms around her tightly. Grayson stood back watching the two and heard Luke shouting. "That's our girl! Up and out before the sun came up!" Jessica laughed and shook her head. "Anna said she was praying for you." Jess held her chest, feeling so much love from her friends and family. "I'll call her later. When is the flight home?" Grayson held her hand as she leaned into his chest. "You don't need to worry about that, I'll let you know. Right now I just wanna get you healthy and not so dehydrated."

Once back in Durham, Grayson never left Jessica's side. He was there, always there. Jess finally stopped him. "Grayson, baby, I am fine. You know I'm fine. Now get your gear and go to practice. Lucas! Make sure he goes to practice. I'm gonna shower, and get some of my American Lit. homework done. Gray, I love you." He kissed her forehead and frowned feeling how burning hot she was. Luke looked up from his phone and nodded. "Jess, your fever is back." She ignored Grayson's words and laid on the couch. "Jessica-" Luke grabbed his keys and jingled them in front of Grayson. "Let's go, Grayson! Coach won't be happy with you making his star player late." Jessica rolled her eyes and waved to them.

After finishing her paper, showering, and binge watching Gilmore Girls, Jessica decided to nap. She woke up to the sound of two guys playing video games and her head on someone's lap. "This isn't my boyfriend, who's lap is this?" She kept her eyes closed hearing Grayson chuckle from the kitchen. "It's Chase, Little Bit." Jess scrunched up her face at the nickname. Grayson walked over leaning down. "How do you feel?" He moved some hair out of her face and she smiled. "A little uncomfortable, your head is right at the goods, bro." Jessica lost it in laughter, she had tears rolling down her face as she sat up quickly. Grayson rolled his eyes chuckling a bit. Jess stood up and hugged Grayson, his arms wrapped around her as they kept their embrace for a while, he whispered sweet nothings into her hair and she slowly scratched his back. Kisses were placed on her head. "We get it! Your in love! Now move!" Jessica giggled and slid out of the way, sticking her tongue out at Frank. Grayson wrapped his arms around her kissing the side of her neck.

"I love you, I don't think you understand how much I truly, honestly love everything about you." Grayson whispered and kissed her skin once more. Jessica could never say she wasn't loved. She was spoiled, to be honest. "Jessica!" A whine came from behind them, she turned seeing Luke. "What now?" Luke pointed to a bra that   Amile was holding. Jessica groaned. "Luke it's a bra! Get over it! Your girlfriend wears them, and you take them off of her. Amile throw it in Grayson's room."

This was a typical night with the boys. If only Jessica could actually get back to feeling one hundred percent. The nausea was with her no matter what. She actually began to worry.
