Chapter 4.

"What did you say? Did you say yes? Was he asking then, like did you- -" Anna's question rampage was quickly put to an end. "I said yes." Jessica's voice was soft and her eyes met Anna's and both having matching huge smiles on their faces. "Don't tell Matt, I wanna do it." Anna nodded feeling ecstatic for her dear friend. "Jessica I am so happy for you! I won't tell anyone, I swear. When are you thinking of a wedding." Jessica sighed and spoke softly. "Last night." Anna's jaw dropped. "So you last name is Allen?" Jess nodded her head. "But, we want to have a real wedding after we finish school or the season." Jess looked over to Anna. "I can't believe you're married."

Meanwhile at Cameron Indoor. "You're what?" Amile asked loudly along with a few others. "Married." Grayson shrugged his shoulders softly. Amile looked around for Matt noticing the senior wasn't around her set his eyes on Grayson. "Does he know?" Gray shook his head quickly.
"Jess wants to tell him." Yes Jessica had agreed to marry Grayson, but not so soon. They weren't even engaged. This was just all an awful prank. "He's not gonna be happy." Harry mumbled under his breath. Grayson shrugged and he was met with hugs from his team mates. "Congrats brother." Luke spoke first and patted his roommate on the back. Amile knew Grayson and Jess were happy together but he couldn't get that night where he was the one everyone confessed their drunk thoughts too.

Amile sat with Matt and Coach Jon Scheyer. Matt was hammered, and it worried some of his team mates and their coach. "Matt? You okay brother?" Matt nodded and looked at Jessica. "Yes." He answered and Amile asked for a minute alone with Matt, Jon got up and walked over to Chase, Luke, and Brandon. "Matt-" He was quickly cut off. "I've lost her forever. She is suppose to be mine. She is suppose to be in my arms, not another mans." Amile was confused he didn't know who his best friend was talking about he looked out the way Matt was looking and he was Anna, that was an obvious no, he had just met her. Then he was Jessica along with Grayson, his arm around her keeping her safe from, air he supposed, he chuckled to himself and quickly got serious. "Matt, you're not talking about Jess are you?" Matt sat quietly looking out at her. "Matt she is with Grayson! She is like your sister, I thought?" Matt shook his head. "I love her, I am in love with her." Amile knew this was drunk thoughts, but he also knew drunk rants, were sober thoughts. "You think, I'll ever have a shot?" Amile knew how serious Grayson was about her, he knew how he needed Jess, they needed Jess for him. But, Amile nodded. "Just, uh, wait for your time."

Jessica walked into the apartment of her best friend. "Matt?" she called out and saw the man laying asleep on the couch. She walked over and laid on him, he wrapped his arms around her tightly. "What are you doing here?" He asked in a groggy voice. Jess didn't know if she could be so mean to Matt and prank him, but she knew everything would work out. "I gotta tell you something, Bub." Matt opened an eye and smiled seeing her smile. "Alright Meaness, what is it?" Matt sat up, Jess sat next to him with a huge smile on her face, Matt couldn't help but smile too, her smile was infectious. "Grayson asked me to marry him, I said yes, and we got married last night." The smile fell from Matt's face, and he stood up and looked at her. "You serious?" She frowned seeing that he wasn't excited, maybe he knew it was a prank was the only thing she could say in her head. "Jessica! How could you be so stupid and get married? You still working hard to finish school! You have so much ahead of you." Matt was furious, he couldn't decide if he wanted to yell or punch something. "Jess, I, You're going to have to leave." Her eyes widen as he opened the door. "Out Jess!" She walked over to him and out the door with tears in her eyes, the door slammed shut and she sobbed sitting outside the door, little did she know Matt was doing the same thing on the other end.

After hours of not showing up to the team dinner which is where Grayson told the boys it was a prank when they saw Jess and Matt didn't show up they went looking for both. Arriving to the apartment to see Jessica crying, she looked up and saw Grayson and she stood up walking up to him punching his chest, confused at her actions Gray grabbed her hands and pulled her in tightly. "What is the matter with you?!" He shouted at her as he hears "This is all your fault." being shouted at him. Amile ran to the door beating on it. "Open the door Matt!" Matt ignored everyone and kept sitting on the couch and Jess got up and used her key letting herself in and she shut the door locking it. "Matt.."

"Get. Out. Jessica." With that Jess walked out of the apartment past Grayson and Amile and to her car where she drove off to her apartment and cried in her room.
