"You're kidding me!" Clem giggled as Helga filled her in on the gossips. "No way!"

"It's trueeee," Helga giggled. "He likes ya!"

"SHhh!" Clementine blushed as nearby students turned their head sharply, Helga smiled back with full-on awkwardness.

The two girls remained silent as Clem's deep purple eyes stared into Helga's warm, chestnut ones. No more is said, the plan is set.

Afterschool.

"You sure he went that way?" Clementine whispered as James turned a corner in front of them and disappeared. "Looks dodgy..."

"Or he might've realised that a beautiful, drop-dead gorgeous person like you is stalking him and got shy." Helga joked back. Clementine gave her a fake slap on the shoulder. "Come on."

Clementine fiddled with the straps of her backpack as continued venturing down the narrow street.

"Hello ladies, Hello," A masculine voice approached from the other side of the corner.

Helga instinctively stepped forward in front of her friend, her arms spread out protectively. She stepped aside as she recognized the figure.

"James!" Helga exclaimed, stretching her hand out for an awkward highfive. "Yeah! Gimme a highfive! Uhh...Exams are over!"

Awkward silence.

"Yeah...Exams are over, haha," James took the highfive gently as he turned his gaze to the medium height girl behind Helga. "Hey...Clem. Can I call you Clem?"

"Sure, I mean, all my friends call me that," Clementine rubbed her newly polished nails, tiny white flowers on top of the pink bottom layer.

Helga rolled her eyes but couldn't hide the smile on her cheeks.

"Friendzoned!" She stuck her tongue out and teased. James looked down at his shoes. "Well, look, Clem, I still have some History homework, I think, so I better get going. Bye James, see you at school!"

Helga then sprinted away, leaving her confused friend and James without turning back.

Next morning,

Helga woke up, and took a sip of water from the bedside table as she rubbed the sleep from her eyes. She then felt the softness of the blanket covering her legs.

Never knew I had a blanket that's this soft.

Wait, did I just take a sip of water? I don't remember having water...

She looked around. Everything is...different.

THIS IS NOT HER ROOM!!!!

After trying to 'wake up' a few more times, she gave up, she's in James' body, this is not a dream.

"Ugh," Helga groaned as she made her way into the boy's uniform, the new body is utterly uncomfortable.

'She' looked down at 'her' legs after learning the awkwardness of walking with a different body.

Too bad.

Do it for Clem.

"You know, James," Her best friend greeted her at the gates. "Helga told me that you liked me...is that true?"
