Dear Cassia,

So many things have happened since I last wrote in you! It has been so eventful! Lady Lucia has so many accessories to pack! Although I don't wish to talk bad about her, but her mountain of luxurious belongings is driving me deranged!

Speaking which, I have forgotten to tell you, but Lady Lucia and I are heading to Herculaneum! It sounds glamorous, does it not? Lady Lucia told me that it's a common place for riches to spend their holy days. Since it's a port city, I'm not too surprised about all those luxuries Lady Lucia named of which I haven't previously heard of.

Madame says that Lady Lucia and I will be leaving a few days prior to the rest of the household. Because Old master's illness is making him inconvenient for traveling long distances.

But besides that, I'm just glad that young master will also be staying back. Young master with his naturally spiky hair has always disliked me, for no reasons that I know of. He's also the only person in the household who opposed me from becoming Lady Lucia's close servant.

I'm so excited, Cassia, I can feel my temples jump when I think about this trip. I have a feeling that it will be remarkable and release me from the painful memories of last year.

It's almost dark now, so I shall commence packing too. Since my little attic will be pitch black real soon, and Old Master will be discontent if I lit too many torches. I shall stop writing.

Lady Lucia gave me a bag to pack as a gift. Don't worry, you'll definitely be the first thing I place into it.

Your truthful friend,

Aurelianus.
