Suddenly the music stopped and everyone turned to see Mcgonigall standing at her podium. "This ball is to honour the 21st anniversary of the second wizarding war. Harry and Draco stepped up to the podium together and smiled at the crowd of children. Harry started.
"Most of you will have relations who fought in the war. Some of them might be your parents. Yes war is a terrible thing but it's also a good thing. If it wasn't for the war I would have never found out what type of person I am today. I never would have needed to have confidence or courage. I wouldn't be me."
"Yes," Draco said. "I'm the same. If that war hadn't happened I never would have stood up to my father. Yes, he was a Death Eater. And so was I. But I never wanted to be. If it wasn't for the war I wouldn't have had the strength to stand up to him. I never would seen him locked up for the crimes he did." His eyes searched the room until he found the two he was looking for. Scorpius and Bella. "I never would have had my two wonderful kids. Who deserve all the praise for the man I am today."
People clapped and cheers. Mcgonigall stepped back up. "And now we will hear a song from Bella Malfoy herself." Lily shot a confused look at her and Bella shrugged.
"I didn't know you were singing!" She said. Bella smiled.
"I only agreed this morning." She walked up the where the band were and took the microphone.
