Chapter 4

So the guy above is who Bryan is based on.

After we got done looking at everything we went to meet the other for dinner. Skylar was waiting by the entrance of hunter hall when we arrived.

"Hey sky this is Katy my roommate." I said.

"Hello I'm Skylar and our brother Mic should be here soon. And he is bringing his roommate." She said.

"Sweet can't wait to meet him. Hope he's hot." I said while laughing.

"Right! Or he can't eat with us." Katy exclaimed with a smile.

"Oh hey here they are!" Exclaimed Skylar.

"Hey guys" Mic said as he walked up "this is Bryan. Bryan this is Sophie, Skylar, and ...."

"Katy" I said. It was him the guy I saw at the coffee shop back home. He was beautiful up close. I had the urge to reach out and run my hands through his perfectly brown hair. But something felt off about him, and it just made me want to go to him more. I couldn't understand why I had these urges. Then I noticed I wasn't the only one in awe, he seemed to be looking at me the same way. And then our eyes meet, those piecing green eyes staring into mine. I felt like I was frozen in time looking into those perfect eyes, nothing had ever paralyzed me like this before, and there was just a hint of a smile on his face.

"Sophie, Sophie." Katy was trying to get my attention.

"Huh." I said as I broke the connection between Bryan and me.

"It's time to go in; Mic and Skylar already went inside." She said.

"Ya ok" I said to her feeling kind of stupid.

We walked in with Bryan following us. I was very drawn to him and I didn't know why. He seemed to keep looking at me. Maybe he liked me. I got my food and followed Katy to her table. I noticed Mic and Skylar were not with us, I looked around and found them sitting by themselves. I had thought Bryan had followed them until I felt a presence next to me.

"Hey guys this is Sophie my new roommate, and this is Bryan." Katy said to her friends.

The whole time I was sitting next to him I felt warm on that side of my body. The heat inside my body had disappeared when he wasn't next to me and came back when he sat down. It was strange because werewolf's are always burning hot, we tend to not need to wear jackets, body heat was important to our health. If we get very cold we get ill fast, most of the time only elder wolves lose their body heat once they are close to death.

Bryan turned and started talking to me interrupting my thoughts. "So you're Sophie." He said

"Ya that's me" I replied.

"Well I do believe you have the most annoying brother ever. And the most beautiful blue eyes." He said to me.

Ya he is right Mic is.... Wait what did he just say I have beautiful eyes? "Thanks, and ya good luck with Mic he can be a real dog sometimes." I said nervously with a smile.

"Well as long as being his roommate lets me be able to hang out with you I think I'll be able to handle it." He replied with a smile that lit up the room.

"Good luck, I may look sweet but my bite is worse than my bark." I replied playfully.

"It looks as if Mic may not be the only dog I have to tame" He said with a smile then got up and left Hunter hall.

"Oh My God! Sophie do you know who Bryan is?" Katy asked in shock.

"No but I have a feeling I will soon." I replied with a smile. While in a daydream. Because I wasn't sure if what just happened was real.

"Bryan Lynch is one of the highest ranking students here. He is also never talks to anyone but a few of the guys he works out with. So far Mic is his first roommate that I have heard of." Katy said in what seemed only one breath.

"Well he just talked to me and I know for sure I am nothing special." I replied.

"Sophie don't you get it you are the only girl he has talked to since I have been here." She said to me. "He must think you are different from the rest of us."

Hmmm ya she does have a point but he seems like such a sweet guy I don't see him not having many friends. He didn't seem like the stuck up guy she was describing.

After Bryan had left Katy and I talked for a little longer with her friends then walked back to our room. She mentioned to me that curfew was at 11pm and no one was allowed to have any electronics on after curfew hit. We talked for a long time once we were back, I told her about Oregon and how our house was in the middle of the woods and we lived near a small town with beautiful buildings.

"I really miss it. The woods are nothing like the ones here, but it's the only home that I remember." I told her.

"You don't remember living anywhere else before?" She asked me.

"It's a long story, but no I don't remember anything before my 16th birthday. I got in an accident I my memory went blank from then on. I got adopted by Mic's dad and have been living with them ever since." I told her.

"Wow I am so sorry Sophie I can't imagine how that feels. I wonder if you will start remembering at some point." She said to me.

"I have been looking into it for a year now but have found nothing because Mic's dad did not know my last name. I don't remember how they knew me before but I am grateful for them taking me in." I said to her.

After I told her that Katy decided to change the subject and tell me about her travels and where all she had been. Around 10:55 a women named Miss, Fisher came by telling us to turn our lights out. I was so tired from all that happened in the last few days that I drifted into a deep sleep.
