Hidden Essence

Chapter 12

What do yall do when you get a message from someone that makes you kinda want to slap them? I am not good at talking to people, i literally freak out if someone talks to me, if its texting im better but then im so nerves if i screw up they will know who i am, it makes no since :) Does that happen to any of yall? Let me know in the comments if your a nerves wreck around others like me:):)

I couldn't believe it, i think Bryan is right. "What?" i ask in shocked but knowing the answer already. 

"You said your Alpha thought you were special but never told you why. Then when Skylar and Mic were talking they were glad they wiped out your memory and why would Skylar set you up?" He said to me. "Maybe your special because you were once a vampire and they wanted to keep you under the radar." 

"Well when you put it like that, ya it makes since. But why would they not want me knowing?" I asked.

"I dont know but i what i do know is they will be coming to check on me soon and, Bryan is the only one they'll expect in here." Jack said to us.

Katy was quiet the whole time but when it was time to leave she ran into his arms and started to cry her eyes out. Bryan gave me a big hug and told me to be careful and not to trust anyone except him, Jack, and Katy. "I will now i have to go." I said to him. "Ok, bye" He said as he leaned down and kissed me. I asked them to stand back so i could shift, Katy got onto my back and we jumped out the window to the ground. "Sophie thank you for taking us to Jack i missed him so much." She said to me. 

I let her off my back and shifted back. "I know you did and it will get better with him, i promise." I said.

"Are you sure about that?" She asked.  

"Pretty sure, but lets not talk about this till we get back to the room." I said.

We didn't talk the rest of the way. I was mainly stuck in my thoughts, and i could tell Katy was to. I cant believe that what jack said could be true. How could i have been a vampire before? It all seemed unreal. When we got to the dorms we basically ran upstairs and crashed on our beds. "Sophie are you all right?" She asked me.

"No not really. I thought Skylar was my best friend and Mic's my brother. I cant believe they would do this and then hide it all from me?" I said all at once.

"I don't know."She said to me.

"I mean i don't even know who i was before. I'm different than the other i know that now, but why would being a vampire before make any difference with who i am now. And if Mic said if i ever found out it wouldn't be good for them."  I said.

"Well there is probably something about your past that they don't want you ever remembering because it could bring war if you or anyone else ever found out." She said.

"Maybe, but war is a huge thing and i doubt i am going to be the cause of a war." I said.

"Ya i guess, but do you think there's anyone we could talk to about this?" She asked.

"No, Bryan doesn't want any of this to get out." I said to her.

"Ok, well i think i am going to turn in for the night." She said to me.

"Ya me to." I replied.

That night i had a hard time sleeping. With all that i had learned today I couldn't sleep. Around 10pm i got up and started pacing the room. Just trying to put some of the pieces together. After a while i walked to the window and just stood there starring out into the night. I could feel the weather changing. The room seemed a bit colder after a few minutes so i went back after a few minutes so i went back to bed to wait out the morning. All of the sudden Katy was shaking me awake. "Sophie wake up, wake up,come on look at this!" she said excitedly. She dragged me out of bed and to the window and i saw the first snow fall of the season.
