Chapter 36

A month passed since the burial. Wade was teaching Hyde to fight in his wolf form since Hyde started shifting a few days ago.

"Now this is how you tear a Wolf's head off." Wade said as he launced towards the straw pillar and bit into it cleanly breaking it into two. "Try it."

Hyde walked backed and jumped towards the other straw pillar mimicking Wade's action.

"Yes that is correct." Wade said. They both shifted back into thier human forms. They chatted a little but eventually went seperate ways. Wade went into the woods as Hyde went back to the pack house. Their relationship was strained but at times they could go back to their old playful ways. It felt normal except, there was always some sort of awkward tension between them. At least that was how Hyde felt. Hyde looked at Wade as Wade disappeared into the forest once more, then finnaly headed back into the pack house.

On the way in he bumped into Tyler. Tyler fell down. Tyler whimpered as he fell down on his bad leg in which many of the pack members in Hyde's pack bullied him. Tyler had bruises everywhere. It was evident to see that his life in Alpha Wood's pack was not stable. Tyler was a loner. Everyone hated him or treated him terribly. But that was the life of a person who was the son of traitor. Hyde would try to reach his hand out towards him but Tyler would be quick to avoid it. Life wasn't good for Adira or Janie either as they were basically treated like Omegas having them do work. Hyde really wanted to stop this mistreatment, but likewise, Hyde was not anything. He was just the Alpha's son. No one really cared or listened to him. He wasn't the Alpha, and if he was, many of the pack members knew that they would leave as soon as he was annouced to be. They didn't want a weakling to be thier Alpha. In fact many had already planned to leave. As soon as Wade accepted the Alpha position of the Former Alpha Row, then they would pack up and move to that territory. Of course they didn't let Alpha Woods know as he would be angered, and trust me, no one dared to anger him.

Hyde held his hand out for Tyler to grab, but Tyler ignored it as he quickly got up as he was late for a bullying appointment. Tyler didn't dare treat Hyde terrible anymore. As Tyler left Hyde looked back at Tyler sadly.

Night came.

During this time, Hyde and Wade were practicing. They practiced because, Wade wanted Hyde to get better at his night vision. Fighting was essentially at night since many rogues attacked during this time. Werewolfes needed to adjust to the darkness because they also too could not see very well. Hyde fought in his werewolf form against Wade who was fighting in his human form. Wade was an amazing fighter and an amazing teacher. He was strict and tough, but always his students were the best. He voluntered to teach Hyde to fight as he knew Hyde would one day be one of the best Alphas out there. Wade was willing to stay by Hyde's side for the rest of his life even if others saw it as disgraceful. He loved his brother and didn't mind, as long as he could stay in this territory forever. He was contended.

They were so immeresed in fighting they didn't know a blood thirsty rogue had his eyes on Hyde's and Wade's powerful Alpha blood. This rogue was a very strong rogue in deed who have live for 300 years now drinking the blood of virgins and alphas for decades. Somehow today he had wondered onto the land of Alpha Woods. He crept slowly, slowly, then when he saw the perfect oprrutunity when Hyde had pinned Wade down, he jumped knocking Hyde over. Hyde was knocked out of breath. Hyde suddenly felt a bit into his right arm. He screamed in pain, as he couldn't moved as he was straddled down to the ground. Wade got up and acted quick. Wade shifted into his Midnight blue wolf and tackled the rogue down. There they ended up fighting.

Hyde got up quickly. He started shaking as he was scared as it seemed like Wade was getting overpowerd. Wade cried in pain as the rogue bit into him. Hyde stared into Wade's eyes. He knew he should go and help but his legs didn't listen. Instead they betrayed him as he quickly got up and started running as fast as he could away. He was scared. A coward. He knew he should've stayed and helped he was too scared. He had never actually been in a situation like this. He ran away as fast as he could leaving his older brother behind. He was sorry, but he was too scared. He didn't know how long he ran but he had gotten quite far from the scene. The woods was dark as there was no one to help. Then suddenly you heard loud steps as they came closer and closer. Hyde stopped in fear as he fell down. Then suddenly a huge White wolf jumped over him as the wolf quickly passed him. The white wolf glanced down at Hyde, then stared straight ahead as if he wasn't there.
