Friday Night
-------------------
"So, will you tell me where we're going now?" I asked impatiently, on the way to our date.
"No, it's still a surprise." he replied joyfully, happy with my frustration.
'Ugh,' I thought, 'why won't he tell me?'
As neither of us could drive, we were walking.
While it was nice that Nate was going to so much effort to surprise me, I have a pet hate of not knowing the answer, or where I'm going, and he knows that.
Suddenly Nate stopped and whipped a blindfold out from his jacket.
'No, no, no.' I thought.
Before I could properly voice my protest, he tied it around my head. He then grabbed each of my arms and began to steer me down the street. He was even making vroom vroom noises like a car. Despite myself, I couldn't help but laugh as I heard laughter and whispering from strangers.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked for the umpteenth time.
"It's still a surprise."
Suddenly we stopped again and I asked, "Are we there?"
"Yep." he replied happily, but when I reached for my blindfold he tutted, "Not yet."
He let go of one of my arms and talked to someone for a minute. Then he grabbed back on and continued doing the car racing thing.
Suddenly he plopped me down on a seat. Then he took off my blindfold and I saw that we were at the cinemas. We were even at the middle back, which is the best spot.
"Ooh, which movie?" I asked excitedly, because I love movies.
"That's still a surprise." he grinned at me.
I could have been frustrated, but I was too busy being intrigued.
Then the movie started and I saw some familiar faces. I started silently jumping up and down in my seat. It was Hunger Games:Catching Fire.
Nate smirked at me as I, excited, jumped up and down. He knew how much I wanted to watch this movie.

"That was amazing! Thanks so much, you're the best." I said happily.
" I know." was Nate's reply.
"Smart-ass." I said bumping his shoulder with mine.
When I got home, mum was waiting for me, no doubt so I could tell her all about the date.
"Soooo..." she said, waiting for me to start babbling about the date, so I did so, in an uncharacteristically girly way.
After spending an hour telling mum about it, I went straight to bed, I was exhausted.
I checked my phone and there were about a hundred texts from Lina, asking how it was. I just replied, 'Was great, I'll tell you about it tomorrow.'
