***Skylar***

I was picking at my taco salad at the diner we had stopped at. I didn't feel like eating. I couldn't eat. I felt sick to my stomach at the thought of seeing Toby and Bethany hanging onto each other, and unfortunately for me that's exactly what she was doing. He was trying to talk to Liam.

Then Liam kept asking if I was okay. Honestly of course I'm not okay. But that doesn't stop the lie of, "I'm fine," coming out of my mouth yet again.

"So tell me all about your new friends," Bethany says with a smile.

I internally groan, "Uh they're weird. And they argue. And I love them that way. I guess now I don't need to worry about you sleeping with all the guys though huh?" I smirk.

She scowls, "I wouldn't have."

I laugh, "Oh yes you would have. In fact I really wouldn't put it past you to still do it."

She huffs, "I would not to do that. Toby is the only one who can smother the heat."

My face falls, "Oh goddess," I mutter.

Liam's face falls in recognition, "Shit."

Bree says, "How are you going to get through that Sky? It's suppose to be really bad."

I gulp, "I hadn't even thought about it."

Bethany smirks, "Mine started this morning. It was bad."

Toby smiles, "You'll figure out something Sky."

Bethany laughs, "You can always use whoever your using as a little fuck buddy."

I groan, "That was Micah."

"The one in your room on Skype that one time? That was Micah? Goddess he is cute!"

"That was him and yeah he's cute and also a jackass. I'm not letting him touch me, even if he does come back."

She sighs, "Sky I hate to tell you this but you might have to let him, Toby told me that Micah Marked you and you weren't willing but wolves have died before from the heat and no satisfaction."

Toby sighs, "Maybe you should try reaching out to Micah."

I shake my head, "No. I'm not asking him for help. I don't care how bad it gets. I won't cave into him. I refuse."

"But Sky it could kill you," he whines.

"I don't care. I'm not reaching out to Micah. I don't want anything to do with the bastard."

"But Sky-"

"Toby stop. Can't you see you're upsetting her?" Liam snaps.

Toby huffs and Bethany frowns, "So change of subject. Where are we staying exactly?"

I groan, "My bedroom."

Toby frowns, "Where will you be?"

"In my bedroom at the packhouse," Liam says steadily.

Bree says, "It's so that if Micah comes looking for her he doesn't fine her. He'll never look in Liam's bedroom."

Bethany sighs, "How can you be so sure? I mean Micah knows that Skylar goes after hot guys, what if that's his first guess."

Ignoring the fact that she just called Liam hot I glare at her, "What makes you think I would sleep with Liam?! And why the hell does everyone think I would?!"

Bethany and Bree actually both laugh and Toby and Liam glare at each other, finally Bree says, "Honey, I've never seen you hang around an ugly guy, and frankly all the guys in the pack wish they could screw you. You're the pretty one now."
