The 4 Elements: The return

Chapter 6

"See anyone?"

"No let's go."

Skylar, Eva, Austin and Chad headed towards the music room. They opened the huge wood doors and entered. There were three rooms on the right side and one big room on the left.

"Austin can you remember which room it was?"

"It was one of these three but they all look so similar."

"Then we'll have to search all of them"

"It's this one."

"Are you sure Austin?"

"Yes"

They looked around the small room which contained two tables and two electric keyboards.

"I was standing here. Monica and the other girl were next to me. She pushed the girl and then jumped me."

"Let's check for any more pictures"

They searched all of the rooms. Only when they were in the largest room did they find anything.

"There are pictures of all of us including Monica."

There was loud laughter coming from outside. They went to investigate. They saw Zach with the popular kids.

"He looks happy."

"It's as if he never left"

Austin elbowed Chad. Chad realised why when he looked at Skylar.

"We need to find out more."

They left the room and went into the main hall.

"It's weird that it feels like yesterday we finally met Monica."

"Yeah I wish it was the day before that"

"I think we all do"

Something caught the corner of Eva's eye.

"Look it's Mrs Lily"

"I thought she retired"

"She did but she might know something"

They walked up to the lady with white short hair who was wearing a floral dress.

"Excuse me Mrs Lily?"

"Yes.... Oh my goodness. Skylar? Eva? Austin?"

"You remember us?"

"Of course. What can I do for you?"

"We were wondering if you remembered anything about who we used to hang around?"

"Why yes I do. I was going to ask about Monica. Is she still causing trouble? My oh my you lot were inseparable"

"We were?"

"Yes. You would go everywhere together. It's as if you don't remember anything at all."

"We don't......"

"Did you say something dear?"

"Uh no just that we better be going. It was nice seeing you again Miss"

"Same here. I hope your future is bright"

And with a simple nod they all left.

"Friends? How could this be?"

"How is it we can't remember?"

"Let's get going"

"I'll call Zach"

"No leave him Skye. He must miss his friends"

"Chad's  right. He needs time to catch up"

They left the school and headed home.

"I'll hope you weren't going to leave me"

"Zach?!"

"Who else?"

"We found some information"

They filled Zach in on everything they found out.

"So you were all friends before?"

"Yes but we can't remember any of it"

"Something has made us forget"

"Or someone"

I know this is a very late update and short but here it is. At this point I'm thinking about where it is going to go from here. So some updates might be late or they might be quick. Anyway I hope you enjoyed chapter 6.
