Chapter 9

It had been two days before any memories came back. They had been training when their heads started to buzz and then the pain came. They saw everything.

The end of the first year of secondary school. Skylar had started to a girl she met in the music room. Her name was Monica. Over the summer they talked a lot. When school started again Skylar started to hang out with Eva a lot. She still talked to Monica and would spend time with her as well. As the year went on Skylar and Eva became closer. They started to grow apart from Monica, they didn't mean to but all of them were hanging out with other people. Before they knew it, it was their third year in school. Eva and Skylar started to talk to another boy in their class, Austin. He became close with Monica so they all sat next to each other in lessons. Everything was great.......until the day in the music room. Only Austin knew what exactly happened. He ran up to Eva and Skylar and told them that Monica had pushed a year eight and then proceeded to attack him. At that moment Eva and Skylar began to suspect Monica wasn't safe but they all continued to hang out with each other. A few weeks later is when it all stopped. It was a science lesson. Skylar was sitting next to Austin when Monica came in and told Skylar to move seats. Skylar tried to tell her that it was only for a minute because there was going to be an experiment but Monica didn't care. In the end Monica just sat down next to Skylar. She was saying things under her breath and then she threw Skylar's stuff on the floor. An annoyed Skylar decided to tell her that she shouldn't act this way but when Monica didn't listen Skylar threw Monica's stuff across the table. Monica wouldn't stop going on about it so Austin decided to step on and told her to stop. That night Monica sent them so many mean messages and Austin sent some back after she wouldn't go away. It continued this way for months. Monica started to push Austin around and tried to wind him up. She poked and said mean things about Skylar all the way  through lessons. Everyone could see what she was doing though and it made everyone turn against her. In the end she would say Austin, Eva and Skylar were bullying her and she left to go somewhere else. She had gone to train under dark magic and she believed she would have the power of the elements. When the other four gained the magic instead Monica decided to destroy them right there at that moment.
