Trolls Continued: Branch And Poppy

Two days into the search for Poppy, Peppy and Branch were worn out.

"Hey, Branch?" Peppy asked.

He turned around. "Yeah?"

"I don't think she's here. Branch, I think she's....."

Don't say it.

"......gone. I think we've lost her forever, Branch. I'm sorry to say it."

No. No no no. Poppy wasn't dead. She was alive and somewhere.

Just, where?

"Branch," Peppy said. "I'm sorry. Poppy's gone. There's nothing we can do about it."

Branch fell to the ground, tears all around him.

He couldn't stand the thought if Poppy being dead.

He wanted Poppy in his arms, he wanted to feel her comfort.

"No," Branch said, quietly. "I'm not giving up. I'm going to find Poppy. I'm not giving up."

"Branch-"

"Peppy, if you don't want to come, then don't. I'll search for her on my own."

Branch started going thru more bushes, and he heard Peppy behind him.

"Shh," Branch said. "I hear something."

It was the sound of someone struggling, like they were dieing.

Branch peeked out the bush. There stood:

Poppy.

In a cage.

Being choked.

By Creek.

Branch ran out. "Let her go!!!"

Creek was startled, and he let Poppy go, and walked up to Branch.

"Well well well, what do we have here? Poppy's sweet, sweet boyfriend, is that correct?"

Branch didn't say anything for a minute.

"Yes," said Poppy. "That's correct."

Poppy was still gray, and she looked miserable. But when she saw Branch, she out on the biggest smile she'd ever put on before.

"Well," Creek used his hair to choke Branch.

"Branch!!" called Poppy.

"Say goodbye to your boyfriend, Poppy!!" Creek yelled.

Just about when Branch was about to accept his fate, pink hair wrapped around Creek's neck, making him lose his grip on Branch.

"Hurry!" Poppy yelled from the cage. "Help me out of here!!"

Branch was still struggling to breathe, but he managed to make it over to Poppy's cage.

Just then, Peppy came out.

"Dad!!" Poppy yelled.

"No, Peppy!! Get out of here! It's too dangerous!!"

"I'm not leaving my daughter behind!" Peppy said, and hopped over to them.

Creek somehow managed to get loose from Poppy's hair, and he ran over.

"Well well well. What do we have here?" he paused. "Look's like we've got Poppy, her boyfriend and her daddy!"

Before anyone could think, he threw them all into the cage, and locked it.

Great.
