Branch shook Poppy, his heart racing, tears springing from his eyes. "Poppy, Poppy wake up!! Poppy!!"
Peppy walked over and put his hand on his shoulder. "I don't know what happened Branch. I'm sorry. Poppy's-"
He's going to say she's gone. She's not gone she's not gone she's not gone......
"She's not gone. She's alive, she's here, I know it. I know it I know it I know it."
"Branch, I'm sorry......."
"Poppy, wake up!!!" Branch shook her over and over again. His face was soaked. He took something out of his pocket and threw it across the cage. "Argh!!!!! Why Poppy???!!!! Why don't you take the good ones and leave the BSD ones like Creek???!!!!" Branch yelled. "Poppy, come back to me!!!"
Branch noticed his skin turned darker, and darker, and darker. He was soon grey, and Poppy had lost all her color once again and was grey as well.
"No," he said, then noticed something sparkling and shining.
The ring.
Branch grabbed it and out it On Poppy's finger. It lit up, made a sound, and Poppy's eyes fluttered open.
Her skin was turning so bright it could blind you. She was even more colorful than she was before.
And, as it turned out, so was Branch.
"Branch!!" Poppy squealed and wrapped her arms around his shoulders.
"Poppy," he said, wiping tears away.
But this time they were tears of joy.
