"Poppy?" Branch asked when she was alone. "Is there anything I can do?"
She shook her head. "No."
"Well, do you want to return home?"
That reminded her.
"Oh no!! Biggie! He's still missing!"
"Uh oh, we have to find him!" DJ said, jumping in on the conversation.
"But, he could be anywhere!" Cooper said.
"Well, we have to look for him! We can't just leave without him!" said Branch.
"Yeah, we can. We just need to get home where it's safe," Poppy said. "Before Creek and/or Chef come back."
"What about no Troll left behind?" Branch asked.
"That doesn't matter, Branch. I just want to get back home and forget about this. Forget about everything. All I want is for Creek to leave us alone so I don't have to put everyone in danger like I always somehow end up doing!"
She walked over and sat behind a tree, wanting to be alone. Nobody followed her, and before Branch knew it, everyone turned gray like Poppy, including him.
