[55] It Just Doesn't Matter Anymore.

Hey! I'm still alive!!

Branch looked at Poppy, who had tears running down her face of fear.

"What's wrong?" Branch asked her.

"I was just scared."

Branch sees she's gray. "Then why are you gray?"

"It's a long story." Poppy looked down.

"Well, can we fix it?" he asked her.

"I don't think so. It's not like those other times I was gray. This time.....it's different."

"Different......how?"

"I don't know. Just, different like I don't want to be around anyone, like I only want to hide away alone, like, like.....like I don't want to be pink and happy again."

Everyone looked at her, shocked, including Branch.

"You're like Branch before he was blue!" Cooper said, but quickly shushed as her realized this wasn't a moment of jokes.

Poppy shock her head. "What's the point of this anymore?"

Branch looked at her and put his hand on her chin. "Poppy, this is coming from the Queen!"

Poppy shrugged. "I guess. But, I don't think I'll ever be happy again, Branchie. It's just like nobody even cares about me."

"Are you kidding me??" Branch shrieked. "Poppy, I love you!"

Branch tried to lean in to kiss her, but Poppy pushed him away.

"It just doesn't matter anymore."
