Branch felt something smooth lay on his cheek. He opened his eyes, tired, and saw pink.
Poppy?
It was blurry because he had just woken up. He saw the pink figure then start to skip, or whatever they were doing away.
"Poppy?" he questioned.
He rubbed his eyes. Sure enough, it was Poppy.
He jumped. He had assumed he was the only one here.
Poppy jumped and squeaked, startled. She then saw Branch sitting up. She then looked at him. He didn't say anything. He saw tears form in her eyes, and she ran off.
He chased after her. "Poppy?" he asked, looked from behind walls and in hallways.
But she was nowhere to be found.
