[23] Creek Loves Poppy

Branch had Poppy in this arms, when they both heard a loud crash.

Something had fallen outside of the cage they were locked in. He let Poppy go, and Poppy stood behind him, gripping his hand of fear.

"What was that? Who's out there?" Poppy asked.

"It's probably Creek," Peppy said. "Branch, protect Poppy. I'll see if I can deal with this."

Branch took Poppy and Poppy behind him, but Poppy fought back.

"No, Dad! I don't want anything to happen to you!!" Poppy whined.

"Nothing will happen to me." Peppy said, stepping up to look out if the cage closely. "I'll be right here."

Branch grabbed Poppy's hand. "Poppy, relax. We'll take care of you."

"But, Creek....."

Branch started to talk, until they all heard someone say:

"I heard my name."

"It's Creek!" Peppy whispered. "Get back!"

Creek stepped up, and he looked at Poppy. It didn't take long for him to notice the ring, and he didn't look happy.

"Well well well. You two are officially love bugs, aren't you? Well, you can't be....if I kill one of you."

He reached in and grabbed Poppy's hand. Branch grabbed her back, but Creek yanked on her, making her go flying and smashing her head onto one of the bars to the cage.

Poppy let out silent tears of pain, and closed her eyes and lay there.

"You cannot hurt Poppy!!" Branch yelled, and used his hair to pick up Creek and throw him across the room.

"Nice going, Branch!!" Peppy yelled, and ran over to high five him.

But Branch tripped over....
