[22] You're Mine, Don't Forget That

Hey guys! I'm sorry I have not been updating, but I'll try and keep up! Sorry :)
Anyway, story time!!

Peppy walked over. "I'm happy for you guys," he said.

Poppy arms were wrapped around Branch's neck. "Thanks, Dad." she smiled and planted a small kiss on Branch.

Branch laughed. "I thought you were dead, Poppy. You freaked me out!!!"

"I....I did too. I freaked myself out."

"Well, what happened?" Peppy asked. "After you collapsed?"

"Well, all of a sudden, everything went black, including me. I didn't know what was happening, but at the same time I felt like I did. Like, I could see you and Branch thru my closed eyelids, but not well. Branch was crying, you were trying to calm him down. I tried to open my eyed, and it didn't work. I tried to move, and I couldn't. Something.....it was just wrong, somehow."

Branch snapped his fingers. "I know it! Poppy, you're the happiest Troll in the land. It's in you, it's in your heart. And, since you've turned gray so many times, you body just....gave out!"

Poppy thought about it, then nodded. "That's it!!"

"I'm just....glad you're okay," Branch said, quietly. "You're mine, Poppy. I'm never going to let you forget that."

"Good. I won't."

Branch wrapped his arms around her, and Poppy smacked him with her lips on his face.
