I woke up to Wes shaking my shoulder. I didn't even know I fell asleep. Sitting up, I grabbed my bag from the backseat of the car and started opening the door.

"Kaylee, you aren't going to need that." Wes said with a smile. Actually looking up I realized that we weren't at work. We were at Barnes and Noble. At first I was really confused.

"Wes! We are going to be late for wor-" I stopped short noticing his smile as he held up his copy of The Fault in Our Stars.

"Well, I would be a bad friend if I didn't take you to see your most favorite author," Wes said smiling uncontrollably.

"Oh my gosh! Wes I love you! You are seriously the best!" I squealed.

"Yeah, yeah, I know. Now come on, we have an amazing author to meet," Wes said still smiling but even brighter than before. We walked through the front door and waited in line. For it being only nine in the morning, the line was pretty long. When we were three people away from our turn, I started getting really excited. It was all I could do to not cry. Yes, I know, I'm a major fangirl.

Finally, it was our turn. "Look at you cute couple. You remind me of Hazel and Augustus. Now the books?" John Green spoke to us. That was the most amazing thing he could ever say about us, even if we weren't really a couple. We both handed him our books, for some reason not correcting him out loud.

"And who should I make these out to?" John asked us.

"I'm Wesley and this is Kaylee," Wes responded for both of us. After he was finished signing our books Wes asked for a picture.

"Of course! I'd love to!" John replied smiling. Wes pulled out his camera and had me take a picture of him and John and then we switched positions, him taking a picture of John and I. After we said our goodbyes to the magnificent author I pulled Wes into a hug.

"Thank you, that was amazing. I could never have asked for a better friend." I said into his ear.

After looking around Barnes and Noble for forty-five minutes, we headed back to work. Sneaking in the front doors, we crept passed Mr. Medlock's office and went into my office.

"Do you think he noticed our being gone?" I asked a little worried. Just as I finished saying that, Mr. Medlock burst through my door.

"Oh good you're both here!" he said a little too excitedly.

"Did you need us?" Wes questioned.

"Yes, I'm sending you to meet with a couple planning their wedding. They want you to photograph their wedding," Mr. Medlock replied.

"Okay, where are we meeting them?" Wes asked.

"Well they are both fond of books so they decided on the Birchwood library."

"Oh I love that Library!" I interjected. Mr. Medlock just laughed and walked out.

"Wait what time?" Wes yelled after him.

Mr. Medlock spun around on his heel, "You know, I forgot to ask." Shaking his head he spun back around and headed out of my office he muttered something about being too old for this job.

Wes laughed and said,"Well best be off then, even if we don't have to be there for awhile, I would like to look around." We walked out to Wes' car and drove to the Library. When we got to the library Wes phone buzzed. "It's a text from Mr. Medlock, he says that the couple names are Eddy and Marie. They will be here in forty-five minutes, so that gives us sometime to look around." Wes said checking his phone.

"Okay, I'm going to go look at young adult fiction. Want to come with?" I asked him.

"Sure, why not," he said with that crooked smile I love.
