A/N: wow these are getting shorter and shorter, but I kinda like this one. Its simple and somewhat fluffy. But yeah if you have requests comment them, comment random things that you think when you read this and vote if you liked. Until next time

----------------------Dean had a thing about personal space. He barely even let his brother invade it, let alone anyone else. He thought maybe it was the way he was raised. His father didn't hug him often; maybe he'd get a clap on the shoulder if he was lucky, but that was about it. Dean grew up feeling like space was something everyone understood, but apparently not.
When Dean hit on women, they felt the need to touch him constantly. Maybe it was the way they flirted, but it made Dean cringe on the inside every time. The only time touching was okay for him was when they were in his bed.
But it went beyond touching. Dean couldn't stand it if someone was within 2 feet of him and they weren't engaged in some sort of fight. Feeling someone else's body heat was unpleasing and it made Dean feel sick. He didn't see the point in hugging or cuddling and especially not holding hands. He never saw himself as someone who would be into that stuff.
Everything changed when Cas popped into Dean's life, quite literally. Cas had an unhealthy habit of popping in practically on top Dean. At first it had annoyed Dean to no end. He constantly reminded Cas to stay at least 4 feet away from him when they spoke. Dean didn't know if it was because he was an angel and unused to interacting with people or if Cas just didn't mind being close to people.
Then Dean got used to it. He'd let Cas stand so close that they'd constantly brush arms. Dean used to flinch and quickly side step away, but realized it was somewhat nice. Human contact was supposed to be good for you and Dean quickly realized that.
Cas grew comfortable with always being close to Dean, so Dean stopped worrying so much about personal space. Until Dean would have a bad day and everything went back to the way it was. This happened more often than Cas liked, but Dean got over it a day later and Cas could practically snuggle up to him again.
Today was one of Dean's bad days, but he didn't want to be alone. It was different from all the other times. He felt like he needed someone, but he would never admit it. Without really meaning to, he prayed for Cas because he felt more comfortable with the angel than he felt with his own brother sometimes. It sounded sad and horrible, but after everything they had been through Dean found himself even more skittish.
Cas appeared almost instantly, like always, sitting right next to Dean on the bed, their thighs touching. Dean winced slightly, but gave Cas a small smile.
"Hello, Dean."
"Hey, Cas," Dean sighed, rubbing his hand over his face.
"What seems to be the problem?" Cas asked, his voice filled with concern.
"I don't know," Dean answered honestly, for once in his life.
"Well, how am I supposed to help?" Cas asked, tilting his head and looking deep into the forest of Dean's eyes.
Dean swallowed hard. He became hype aware of Cas. The way his calloused fingers gripped his knees as he sat. His sky blue eyes searching every inch of Dean's tortured soul. Cas's iconic trench coat that he would never get rid of. But most importantly, the body heat Cas's vessel let out. It didn't bother Dean, in fact, it was comforting. His warmth made Dean feel less alone and it made his bad day about 10 times better.
"You're... uh, kinda close, Cas," Dean choked out after a minute of staring at his best friend.
"Oh," Cas said sadly, slowly moving his body away from Dean's.
"Hey, it was an observation, not a complaint," Dean chuckled as Cas beamed and moved back to his original spot, pressed up to Dean.
"You're my favorite human to do this with," Cas stated. "Not that I do this with other humans."
"Do what?"
"I believe you call it cuddling," Cas said simply, completely oblivious to the slight pink tint to Dean's cheeks.
"Yeah, I like it too," Dean smiled as Cas leaned his head on Dean's shoulder.
Maybe personal space was overrated.
