That summer

Chapter 16: the final suprise

"That was such a surprise! I can't believe they actually came to celebrate with us!" Nina said as they were walking back to the car.

"That was the best food ever!" Fabian said rubbing his stomach. "I'm surprised I'm not as big as a tanker!"

Nina laughed and punched him playfully."Oh you! I love that food!" She said.

Fabian laughed as he playfully punched her back.

Nina and Fabian started laughing as Fabian pulled an arm around her.

"Ah this is the life" Nina said.

"C'mon I have loads of gifts for you!" He said.

"Race you!"

"Your on!"

Fabian and Nina ran too the car. 50 seconds later Nina barely made it into the car first. They were out of breath and exhausted but they still laughed about it.

"I haven't ran that hard since...well..forever" Fabian panted out.

"Hahaha it's okay!" Nina replied.

After the car ride Fabian dropped Nina off at the hospital to visit her gran. With a peck on the cheek he was sent off and went back home.

At the hospital:

Nina took her time to get to grans room. Once she got there gran had a surprised look on her face.

"Happy birthday Nina!" She said.

Nina blushed and took a seat next to her.

"Thank you!" Nina said hugging her now.

"So how's your day gone?" Gran asked her loving granddaughter.

"Simply wonderful! Fabians been so good to me today. He's so full of surprises you have no idea."

"Go on. Tell me, what romantic things has he done?" She asked.

"Oh gran!" Nina said. "He made me chocolate chip pancakes and wrote me another song. He even bought me sunglasses so that we could walk down the streets like celebrities. We went to a restaurant and met up with some of our school friends."

"Sounds like a fun day. I've just been stuck in here watching soap operas" gran said.

"Oh you and your soap operas" Nina said laughing.

"They've Gotten worse through the years !" Gran said.

"Then why do you keep watching them?" Nina asked curiously.

"I want to see if they ever get better." Gran said.

~four hours later~

"Oh gran look at the time! It's 9:00! I'm sorry I have too go!" Nina said standing up. "Bye"

"Bye dear, have a good birthday"

"Thank you!" Nina replied kissing her cheek and leaving.

She walked to the parking lot and texted Fabian that she was ready to be picked up. He came a few minutes later. After minutes of talking they sat in silence until they reached the house.

Fabian held his hands over her eyes.

Nina knew he had yet another surprise and didn't make a sound. Fabian walked her in and into the kitchen. He took his hand off her eyes. Nina instantly turned around and kissed Fabian.

"Aww Fabian you really shouldn't have" she said.

Nina took a seat at one o the two chairs that were on opposite sides of each other. A beautiful flower bouquet of many tropical colors stood in the centre of the table. The lights were dimmed down and the dinning room had been transformed to a romantic date for two. Fabian took a seat across from her.

"I'm glad you like it" Fabian replied smiling.

Nina smiled down at her plate of food.

"Fabian this is too much. You've already done enough for me. Your really all I could ask for. I'm so blessed to have the best boyfriend ever." Nina said.

"I'm so lucky to have the best and certainty the most beautiful girlfriend in the universe" Fabian said looking Into her eyes.

Nina smiled and grabbed his hand from across the width of the table.

~after they finished eating ~

Fabian took Nina's hand and led her outside. He brought her to a towel he had set up in the backyard. They got to the ground and held hands. Their bodies pushed up against one another's as they looked up at the sky.

"This has been the best birthday ever!" Nina exclaimed.

"I'm so happy to hear you say that" Fabian replied.

"I love you so much" Nina said.

Fabian turned his head to Nina.

"I love you too" he said.

Nina smiled and kissed him. He kissed back then they both deepened the kiss. Nina wrapped her hands around his neck and head pulled him closer. Fabian took her legs and wrapped them around his stomach and sat up. He carried her upstairs to Nina's bedroom. Still kissing fiercely he set her down on her bed and Nina pulled him on top of her. Nina rolled on top of Fabian and pulled off his shirt. After she did this Fabian rolled on top of her. Nina released from the kiss panting. Fabian was panting also. She cupped her hands around his trembling face.

"F-Fabian" she breathed out. "Your trembling". She looked at him with compassionate eyes. "Are you nervous?" She asked.

Fabian nodded "no" he said and kissed Nina again.

Happy with his response Nina kissed him passionately and deepened the kiss. Fabian followed suit. While they were kissing Fabian managed to take off Ninas shirt and pants and Nina took off his pants, last.

In between kisses and moaning Nina said "I love you Fabian". "I love you too Nina" Fabian replied.

Afterwords Nina kissed his cheek and down to his collar bone in a straight like. Fabian did the same to Nina but farther and lower. While he did this Nina tangled her fingers into his raven hair.

"Go ahead" Nina breathed out.

And with that simple command fierce kissing began and

Nina slid her hands down the sides of his back, and Fabian wrapped his arms around her stomach.
