That summer

Chapter 19: moving out

The next day.

Nina and Fabian were already packing grans things that were needed in boxes. Nina today felt tired and just blah. She took grans shirts and started packing them as Fabian cleaned up the house to make them not look so messy as they were. Suddenly a loud car horn blared outside.

"Ah!" Nina exclaimed covering her ears.

Fabian herd her yell and he ran to her.

"Are you okay?" He asked already bringing her into a hug.

"A little deaf but okay!"Nina exclaimed louder than she should've.

"Nina it's okay, grans back" he said taking her hands off her ears.

"Really?" She asked.

"Really" Fabian assured her smiling.

Nina smiled up at him and kissed him.

She grabbed his hand.

"C'mon lets go" she said.

"Coming!" Fabian exclaimed trying to catch up to the speeding Nina who was instantly downstairs before you could say "sibuna".

"Gran!" Nina said hugging her.

Fabian was no where to be seen.

"Fabes?!" She called out.

Suddenly rounding the corner of the carpeted stairs holding his side in pain came Fabian.

"What's wrong?" Nina asked.

"When you ran down here with me I didn't see the sharp corner of the stairs and I..ah..ran into it" he said in pain.

"Sit down fabes, you should rest" Nina said.

"Agreed with the child" gran said. "Have you got most of my clothes put away?" Gran asked.

"Yes all of it is rather" Nina said.

"Nice work Nina and Fabian my what a lovely cleaning man you could make" she said.

Fabian blushed but suddenly stopped Because pain raced up his slim sides.

"Sit down gran, how long do you have?" Nina asked.

"Five minutes" gran said sitting down across from Fabian.

Nina took her seat next to Fabian and she digged her head in his shoulder.

~5 minutes later~

The doorbell rang and Nina got up to answer it. It was the retirement home people.

"It's time to go gran" Nina said hiding her tears.

"Oh I'll miss you both." Gran said hugging them both.

"I'll miss you so much" Nina said.

"You can always visit me" she said.

"True but it might not be as often" Nina replied.

"Yeah. I'll miss those days". Gran said.

She picked up her luggage.

"Goodbye you lot" gran said waving.

Nina and Fabian smiled and waved.

"Goodbye gran !" They both said sadly.

The door shut and they heard a car leave the drive way. Nina hugged Fabian and wiped her tears quickly.
