That summer

Chapter 5

A few minutes later Fabian sat and waited near the taxi drop offs and the passengers pick ups. A grey Chevy pulls up next to him. He looks around wearing a nearly stupid grin on his face. The winds picked up almost suddenly as the diver of the car got out. His hair flew backwards smoothly as if he was a model.
"Hi Fabian nice to see you again!" Gran said nearing him. He smiled and hugged her. "Ready to go?" She asked. He nodded and followed her to her car. He sat in the passengers seat and looked around. He'd gotten so used to sitting on the opposite side that everything looked abnormal. She put it in gear and headed off. "Okay so review plan" she said. Fabian looked at her. "I drop you off at my house to surprise Nina, I leave you there for a few hours to chill, if that's what you youngsters say, and then I return." Gran said. "Sounds good" Fabian said smiling.

~ 15 minutes later~
Gran let Fabian off at the curb and she sped off. He took the Handle of his suitcase and trailed up the driveway and up to the porch. Their house had white panelling on the sides, trimmed bushes around the front, a white gated backyard which looked filled with different types of plants and pretty things. He stepped up to the door and sighed out. He pressed the doorbell once and waited. The doorbell had engravings coming out of it, like pillar designs. The door was a woodsy looking brown with a lavish looking doorknob. He heard a dog yapping loudly from the inside and Nina yelling "shush Buddy! Jesus!" Nina said. She opened the door and Fabian smiled bigger and brighter. She looked up at him and her eyes widened and her mouth gazed open. "Am I going insane?" She asked him. "I don't think so" Fabian replied laughing. "FABIAN!" Nina said lunging forwards and engulfing him into a hug. While hugging, Nina stuck her hand out and brought his things in the door before shutting it. She tried her best to keep buddy back with her foot. Soon enough, after deepening the hug, they sunk to their knees. She nudged her head between his neck and shoulder, while Fabian stroked the back of her head. She finally lifted her head up and pulled him into a kiss.
"How?", Nina managed to speak out.
She was so happy, no words could even express her feelings.
"I planned something with your Gran after we got back together." He smiled contently.
"Oh Fabian!" Nina began to tear up. "Thank you so much, you have no idea!"  Nina began hugging him again, smiling uncontrollably.
Suddenly, Buddy jumped inbetween them, insisting on kicking Fabian's face.
Fabian laughed," And who's this?", taking her pet and scratching its ears.

"Oh, that's Buddy. Don't worry about him."

Fabian smiled, "There's nothing to worry about anymore."

And he was right. So right.

Hi... so... I took three years off?
Wow...
I just wanted to thank everyone who still messaged me asking me to continue this story/ rewrite/ adding the sequels.
I really was considering just to leave it, but I decided I can only leave you on a cliffhanger for so long 😂.

I don't know how often I can update, but my goal is to have this story and it's sequels completed on here by the end of the year.
