Chapter 17: I'm sorry!

~ The next morning~

Nina's house was quiet and calm, that morning. Almost too quiet. The past night was very intense, and don't forget romantic. The sun shone brightly through the closed blinds of her room. As the light grew brighter as the morning advanced on, Nina's head only moved the slightest on Fabian. Both of them were bare yet still full of confidence to carry on. Silent and slowly they breathed in sync on top of each other. Nina's hands were on top of his bare chest as they slept. Fabian's arms were resting on Nina's bare back near her spine. Suddenly Fabian turned his head from one side of his body to the other. He awoke with a jolt. He rubbed his eyes with a tired expression. He yawned widely, then looked at his beautiful sleeping girlfriend.

"Good morning beautiful" he said stroking her hair.

Nina woke up slowly and looked up at Fabian and smiled.

"Morning handsome" Nina replied.

Fabian brought Nina's head closer to him and he kissed her forehead. He then brought her head to rest on his chest. Nina closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. Fabian smiled at her and laid her down gently and got dressed. He went downstairs and waited for her. He wasn't very hungry. A few minutes later Nina woke up warm and well rested. She stood up and got changed. Suddenly she felt nauseous and she ran to the bathroom and puked for around 5 minutes. Feeling empty she sat next to the toilet holding her stomach in pain. Feeling like she needed to move on, she washed out her mouth and went downstairs.

"Hey Nina" Fabian said from the couch.

Nina smiled and sat next to him. He glided his arm around her.

"Are you hungry?" Nina asked.

"No, not really are you?" He replied.

"Me either. I just feel relaxed"

"Me too" Fabian replied.

Nina smiled and kissed Fabian, who kissed back. Suddenly she released from the kiss and ran to the bathroom and threw up. Fabian ran after her and held her hair back.

Nina flushed as Fabian asked "Nina are you okay?"

There was a silence before Nina said "I just need...a moment. Could you leave?" She asked kindly.

"Sure love" Fabian said setting her hair down, kissing her cheek and leaving.

Nina stumbled back up as she found a pregnancy test in the cabinet. She used the test and waited. There was a soft beep. Nina glanced at it, and clenched her face from tears.

"Positive" it read.

A few minutes later after telling herself that she was pregnant in her mind she threw it away and stepped out of the bathroom. Fabian ran up to her.

"Nina are you sure your okay?" Fabian asked oblivious to what was going on.

Nina's mouth quivered and she nodded "no". She grabbed his hands and lead him to the couch and sat him down. Fabian looked mildly confused. Nina looked into his light green eyes.

"Fabian...I'm pregnant" she said.

Fabian took a double take. His world had appeared to stop. Just....stop.

"What?!" He asked quietly, questioning what had just come out of his girlfriend's mouth.

Nina nodded, tears falling down from her face. She went into Fabians open arms and cried in his shoulder.

"Nina, oh...Nina I'm so sorry" Fabian said comforting her, and rubbing her back.

"No Fabian I'm sorry! I started this" Nina said through bawling.

"No Nina, don't pin the blame on yourself. It was both of ours fault."

Nina was unresponsive, but only cried harder.

"Shh..Nina, We'll get through this...together. Nina I love you and I'll never leave you. You understand me?" He said.

Nina nodded and tried to soothe out her breathing.
