When you got back to your house, Draco was waiting for you at the front door. Your parents were nowhere to be found, so it was just Draco. "Hey, (Y/N)." Draco said softly as you sat your things down. You were excited to see him, you wanted to run up and give him a hug and tell him how much you missed him and what you've been through. But you just stood there and stared at him. After a few minutes of silence you finally spoke up, "Hello, Malfoy." You flinched at how harsh you sounded, Draco frowned at you for a moment before smiling again. He quickly grabbed your stuff for you, "We've all missed you, (Y/N). Was your training up to par?" Draco asked. Walking you to the door. Your thoughts were screaming, you were drowning in words. However, you just followed him, not saying a word. Draco looked at you, searching your face for something. You stared at him, "It was fine." You said, your voice had no tone, thanks to Bellatrix. Draco nodded and walked inside, you following him. "Are you hungry? Tired?" Draco asked you, sitting your things at the bottom of your staircase. You walked past him and up the staircase, heading to your room. Once you got to your room you shut your door, going to the window and looking out over your yard. After a while you shut your curtains, making it pitch black in your room. When you made it over to your bed, you sat down and stared at the darkness. You were captivated, not noticing the door open and your bed dipping down. You didn't notice Draco speaking to you until he went to grab your shoulder. That's when you jumped up and pulled your wand out before you realised who it was. Draco was pale when you focused in on his face, you brought your wand down and stared at him. His eyes were moving frantically, and he looked scared. "I'm sorry, Draco." You said, sitting down on the bed. He was stiff from shock, staring at you as you stared down at your hands. That's when he noticed the multi-colored bruises which covered your hands and wrists. He couldn't see the rest of your body, but he was sure it looked the same. "I just want to sleep, Draco." You said in a soft voice, after a moment you felt the bed move and the door close. You laid down and stared at the wall till you eventually fell asleep.
"Now, again!" Bellatrix screamed, throwing another spell at you. You deflected it poorly which resulted in another punishment. "Crucio." She said, making you scream out in pain. "Again," You deflected it this time, which resulted in a loud cackle. "Good, Girl," She purred, You flinched as she caressed your face. "Now, time for the next part." She walked down the corridor, you following closely on her heels. When you got to the room there was a chair with straps, "Sit." You followed her demands and she straped you down. She sighed, "You have to go through some spell tests that will take a while, daring. We need to see what you are capable of under torment." She said, before cackling loudly. You braced yourself as a large man walked into the room, pulling his wand out. She cackled again, as he started shooting spells at your body. Making you writhe in pain.
"(Y/N)! Wake up!" Draco yelled, bringing you out of your dream. You were covered in sweat and blood. Draco was holding your body down, "(Y/N)!" He yelled again, you stared at him as his eyes brimmed with tears. You tried to get up, but he was too strong. "Malfoy," You said softly. His eyes looked into yours, "You were screaming and scratching yourself." Draco said getting off of you. You rolled over, not wanting to face him. "(Y/N), You need at shower." You didn't move, after a few moments of silence you felt the bed move a door open. After a few moments you heard the shower start and Draco walked back towards you. You closed your eyes, "Come on, (Y/L/N)." You felt his breathe on your face, after what felt like forever you felt hands grabbing you, picking you up off the bed. You moaned in pain, "Sorry, but you need to get cleaned up." Draco said, your eyes began to tear up as he sat you down on your toilet. He looked down at you and sighed. As he went to walk out you spoke up softly, "Can you please stay." He looked at you and his expression changed. "I won't look," He said with his signature smirk. You stared at him blankly which made him frown again. When he turned around you started to get undressed, slowly peeling off your clothes. "Draco, I need help." You said facing the shower. "With what?" "My Bra." "Oh," was all you heard before you felt warm hands softly touching your back. After he unclasped your bra you felt his warm hands leave. When a few minutes passed you took the rest of your clothes off and slowly got into the shower.
You were in the shower for a while. The warm water felt great against your cut and bruised skin, "Are you almost done?" You heard Draco ask for the fifth time. You wanted to smile but you just stared at the wall letting the water fall over you. "Yes." You said softly. You heard the bathroom door open and then shut a few minutes later. "I got you a pair of shorts and one of my big shirts for you. Something that you can feel comfortable in and it won't really hurt any of your.." Draco trailed off not wanting to comment on your wounds. You shut the water off and stuck your hand out of the shower, he handed you a towel and you took it. When you stepped out Draco sighed, staring at your body. He took noticed of the massive cuts on your thighs and arms, while also taking inventory of the different colored bruises that speckled your body. "I'm sorry," He said looking down. You stared at him, wanting to tell him it's not his fault. It was all in the prophecy which we had no control over. He couldn't help it and neither could you. After you got dressed you went down stairs with the help of Draco, "Are my parents home?" You asked softly. "No," "Good, they don't need to see." Draco looked at you for a moment before leading you to the kitchen, "They actually look better than when I first got them." You said, sitting down at the counter. Draco paused for a moment and went back to making you both food, you took noticed and thought about your next words. "I actually got these the day before I came home, my daily diet, if I had one, was a healing potion. That's why they look so good. I should be healed fine before school starts." You said quietly, not able to stop talking. Draco tensed as he was making your sandwich, "Draco," You paused. "Draco, are you ready?" You whispered,he stopped what he was doing and brought your plate over to you. "Let's not talk about it," He said giving you kind eyes. You both sat in silence, you chewing on your food. You were halfway finished when you felt the urge to throw up, you quickly ran to the bathroom, hurling as soon as you got to the toilet. After a few moments of you gagging, you felt the warm hands of Draco rubbing your back, "It's okay, (Y/N). I got you."
It was at least ten minutes before you were able to stop, your stomach empty of all your previous contents. You both sat in your living area, tears brimming your eyes as you stared off into space, Draco watching you intently from the other end of the couch. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked softly, you nodded your head. After a few silent moments you tried to speak, but nothing came out. Like a switch, you were a silent mess again wanting to disappear back into your room and sleep. But you couldn't. "How frequently did you eat when you stayed with Bellatrix?" Draco asked from the far end of the couch, "Not enough, I never wanted to eat after the first session. She starved me for a few days as training as well. Bellatrix told me I had to learn to live off a barely full stomach, as well as an empty one. If I ate too much, she made me throw it up. I guess my stomach got accustomed to only wanting little to none." You said softly, still staring at the empty space. The tears silently rolled down your cheek as your memories seemed to replay over and over again. You both sat on the couch for hours, him letting you sit in silence crying to yourself. Draco would try to engage a conversation, but you would say little or nothing at all. Just staring at the empty room, with dried tears on your cheek. Before you both knew it, it was morning time. "Do you want to try and eat a little bit? Maybe a few berries, a bite or two of my breakfast?" Draco asked, sitting next to you with a plate. Your eyes were burning from no sleep, yet you weren't tired. "No," You said softly, your voice cracking a bit. Draco frowned and sat his plate on the table. "I wish there was something I could do to make you feel better." Draco said, making you look up at him. He smiled sincerely at your blank expression, which he got used to quickly. For the next few days he helped you, trying to get you to eat and sleep. You refused, occasionally talking a mile a minute and even laughing with him. But as soon as it started it stopped, you always went back to that dark place in your mind that made you silent and dead. You could tell it was doing a great deal to Draco, he started to look more sad and pale. So after the few days he spent taking care of you and trying to heal you, he left. Leaving you all by yourself with the occasional check in of your parents who also seemed dark and distant. When Draco left, you turned more lifeless, you ate every few days and slept once a week, waking up from a night terror after every couple of hours. You were living the Death eaters life.
