You didn't sleep at all when you and Draco got back to your room. He at first stayed up and talked to you, he eventually fell asleep while you played with his hair. You were looking out the window staring at the lake, watching the water ripple. You suddenly felt arms wrap slowly around your waist and a body pressing against your back. "Are you sure you're okay?" The sleepy voice said, you didn't answer but continued to stare out the window. You felt him release you and you turned around. "You know if people saw us they would have thought we were a married couple." You crawled back in bed while he put his pants on. "Yeah," He looked up at you, "they would wouldn't they?" "Are you not staying the full night?" He paused before he put his shirt on. There was an awkward silence when he sat down on the bed. "Okay." Was all you said and you laid down. He didn't move, "I don't know (y/n)." You scoffed, "what don't you know?" Draco shook his head and looked at you. You sat back up and moved away from Draco. "You can leave now." You said it more harshly than intended. He furrowed his eyebrows then got up and opened the door. Before he walked out he turned to you, "I love you." With that he walked out the door.

You did not sleep all night, how could he just get up and say I love you and then leave. Saying that you're pissed was an understatement. It was almost breakfast time and you decided to get ready. You put on a t-shirt and jeans then headed downstairs. Everyone was down there waiting on you. There was a spot next to Draco and on the other side of the table there was a spot next to Pansy, which you decided to take. Once you sat down Draco gave you a weird look in which you didn't respond to. "How did everyone sleep?" You asked. Everyone looked at you like you were crazy. That's when you noticed Pansy's dark circles. "Why did you take up for me?" She asked you, sitting down her fork. "Because that's what I do, you didn't do anything and even if you did you didn't deserve those punishments. It would have been too much, she could have killed you." "I'm not even sure how that didn't kill you," Ansel said. "It did," Draco piped up. He stuck another fork full in his mouth making you roll your eyes. "Like I said guys, you have to get used to it or you won't make it. You'll be wishing you didn't the whole entire time but it will pass. I think after the 80th one I couldn't really feel it anymore." Everyone looked at you in amazement, Draco dropped his fork and got up. "What's wrong with him?" Ansel asked, "Pansy. Can I talk to you?" She smiled and got up and walked to the girls restroom with you.

"So he just left after it?" She was surprised. "Yup, he got dressed said it and then left. I thought I was the emotional one but apparently not." You both giggled. "All matters aside, I'm really glad you and me are talking like this." Pansy said smiling from ear to ear. You grinned at her, "Me too, otherwise I would have to talk to Blaise and I can see that ending badly." You both laughed again. "So is that the first time that it was exchanged?" You thought for a moment, "indirectly yes, but really it isn't the first time. We are always watching out for each other and he took care of me for three days. As well as last night." Pansy was in awe. "It was your first time!" She excitedly yelled, "Pansy hush. I don't want everyone to know." She giggled, "That's why he left. You didn't say it back." You we're confused, "Why should I have to say it back when we have been letting each other know for years?" Pansy was laughing now, "Trust me. Just say it back to him and it will be better." After you agreed Pansy hugged you and you both went back to the table to finish your breakfast.

After your first few classes and lunch you decided to skip the rest of the day. You waited in your room for Draco. You missed two class periods before you heard a knock on the door. "(Y/N)? Are you in there?" You smiled at the familiar voice, getting excited you yelled back. "Come on in! I'm just cleaning!" You were reorganizing your room when he hurriedly walked in. "Why weren't you in class?" Draco scolded, your smile faltered a bit before you looked up and smiled bigger. "Spring cleaning. Mentally, physically... You know!" You went back to sorting your dresser. Draco rolled his eyes and sat on your bed. Your thoughts were running together as you were trying to find the right way to say I love you to Draco. You were still thinking when Draco got off of your bed and walked towards the door. "Well I'm going to go to class, I'll see you at dinner?" You turned around and frowned at him. "Yeah, good luck in class and have fun." You gave Draco a weak smile, he looked at you in question for a moment before smiling back. "Have fun with your spring cleaning," with that Draco turned around and left. You sighed and walked to the door, only to pause in front of it. Before you opened it Draco pushed it open. "Are you okay?" He studied you, "Yeah, I'm fine. Are you okay?" You asked sarcastically, Draco raised his eyes brow. "Why are you acting weird?" You blushed and shifted your gaze to his feet. "If it's what i said last night," he paused, giving you time to think. "I didn't mean it." You looked at him in shock making him blush, "What do you mean?" You asked harshly, you turned around tears brimming your eyes. "I thought-" "You are going to miss your class, Draco." You walked over to your dresser not letting him see you. It was a while before you heard the door shut, followed by silence. You went to your bed and cried, you cried because you loved him. You cried because he was an idiot and you wanted to do nothing but kill him. You cried because it was just the time to cry, and after all that you took a nap and then got ready for dinner.
