It had been a few weeks since the big talk your group had, now you can't go anywhere alone without one or more of your group members. If it wasn't all of them it was either Axel or Draco, mostly Axel. He was moving up in the Hogwarts scene, he was a bet holder getting 40% of the winning bets for the Triwizard tournament. Everyone knew him now, so with that there were some rumors. Especially since he was with you most of the time. It was a few weeks before the yule ball and you finally got away from everyone. You were walking towards Hagrid's, trying to see if you could get some information from him. Once you got outside his door yo knocked, knowing that you haven't seen him in what feels like decades, it would be quite rude to just barge in. It took a while but Hagrid finally opened the door, "Ah, (Y/N)! It's been a long time hasn't it?" Hagrid said, motioning you to come inside out of the frigid temperature. Once you got inside you noticed that there were others here. Hermione, Harry, and Ron stood in the kitchen. "Sorry, Hagrid. I didn't know you had company." You said, looking down at the floor. You stepped back towards the door. "No it's fine, just glad to see you." Hagrid stood smiling at all four of you. "Well it's nice to see you too Hagrid, as well as the rest of you." You paused surveying their faces. "I forgot I had to meet someone, I must be going." "Axel?" Harry spoke up, visibly annoyed. You gave a confused look and shrunk in posture. "No, why would I go and see him?" You asked, moving your eyes around the room trying not to focus on Harry's angry features. "You haven't heard the rumors have you?" Harry asked, with a smug look on his face. You stared at him, "Harry, stop it. She obviously doesn't know." Hermione said, coming to your rescue. Harry didn't continue, but he did stare at you harshly for a few moments before you spoke up. "Excuse me, but I must be leaving." You said before turning and walking out of Hagrid's house, squeaking a small goodbye to everyone except Harry.
You were walking up the snowy hill, cursing as the snow seeped into your now soaked shoes. When you heard quickly crunching footsteps behind you, you quickly clutched your wand waiting for the target to get closer. When it did you spun around, pointing your wand into the face of Harry. "What do you want?" You asked harshly, lowering your wand down to your side. Harry's eye's were wide, "Well, I, uh was just going to ask you a question." He finally said, you raised your eyebrow waiting. "Okay well are you going to ask? I have something to do." You said after a few minutes of Harry staring at you. "Well I was wondering if you would like to go to the ball with me?" He asked looking down at the ground. You smirked at his proposal, "No." You blurted out, Harry looked up at you, his eyes soft, "Understandable I suppose," He said smiling. "Draco get to you before I was able to?" He continue, motioning for you to start walking with him. "Actually, I haven't been asked at all." You said in a surprised tone, Harry mouthed an O and continued walking in silence. "Why did you say no then?" He asked after a while, you shrugged your shoulders. "Well, it would be a horrible thing for a death eater to be going to a ball with the enemy." You said in a giddy tone. Harry laughed, "Voldemort would get a laugh out of that, wouldn't he?" Harry joked, you glared at him jokingly. You both joked some more before getting close to the entrance of Hogwarts. "It was nice talking with you again," Harry paused, "I miss you." Harry finished kissing your cheek. You blushed and looked away from his gaze, "I miss you guys to." You both stared at each other for a while before you turned and walked away, leaving Harry in front of Hogwarts.
Once you knew you were out of Harry's sight you ran straight to Dumbledore's office. When you walked inside he quickly looked up, "Well hello Ms. (Y/L/N). How can I help you?" Your face was red when you sat down in front of him, "Dumbledore," You said softly. "I don't think I can do this." You breathed out. Dumbledore sat there staring at you, his face was hard to read. "Do what exactly?" He asked, perhaps knowing what you were going to say. "I don't think I can marry Draco."
