After your exhausting classes, the group made their way to their normal seats for lunch. Your stomach growled impatiently. Draco glanced at you and smirked, you rolled your eyes at him and continued with the group. When you all loudly got to the table you seen someone else occupying your seats with Pansy. You glanced over at Draco and winked. You moved over to sit next to the new kid who sat opposite of Pansy and Draco sat next to Pansy, leaving everyone to fill in accordingly. "Hello Pansy," You said in a joyful tone, making her squirm a little. She looked over at you and smiled, "I just wanted to apologize for this morning's events. I hope you forgive me." You said, giving her another smile. All the boys looked at you in disbelief, Draco was definitely going to question you after this. Pansy smiled happily and nodded, "No I understand, (Y/N). I over stepped my boundaries, but I'm glad we can be friends again. In fact, I would like you to meet Donovan." She said smiling big and motioning towards the new kid. He moved to where you could see his face and smiled. Your heart dropped what felt like ten feet. Draco grunted which brought you back to realization, "My names Axel, last name Donovan." The boy said in a warm voice. "(Y/F/N) (Y/L/N), nice to meet you." You said reaching your hand out, he smiled at you and shook your hand. "Ah, (Y/N)? I've heard a lot about you from others. You and a boy named Draco was it?" "That's me," Draco interrupted uninterestingly. You and Pansy both stared at the boy, taking in his features. He had black shaggy hair that was barely to the tips of his eyebrows, he was built and slim with piercing grey eyes. He looked perfect, you thought. "So, Axel. Why are you here?" Draco interrogated after everyone introduced themselves. You glared at Draco, who was sure enough giving an accusing glare towards you. "Well, I just moved actually. My family was over in America, we fled when you-know-who vanished, building up something big in the states. But since my father heard about his new found glory, we came back to serve." Axel said proudly, once you heard the mention of Voldemort you lost interest in the poor boy. You did not want to relive the summer events now since you just got you appetite back and you sleep. Once the food set before you, you dug in with the rest of the group. You had finished eating your sandwich when Axel piped up, "You know with the training you just had, you would think you wouldn't have had an appetite, I wouldn't have even dreamed of you eating at all since you were training with what was her name... Oh Bellatrix!" Everyone stopped eating and stared at you, you suddenly felt your stomach twist and cramp, bubbling up signaling you to run to the bathroom or everyone else would get covered in the nasty mix of bile and turkey with bread. You quickly ran to the bathroom and threw up your lunch, you felt a hand on your shoulder when you were finishing dry heaving nothing into the full toilet. After you flushed you sat down exhausted on the bathroom floor, crying silently into your folded arms. Draco sat next to you, still rubbing your shoulders. After a few minutes of you silently crying all your makeup off you spoke up, "And just like that, it's torn down into shreds. Dra- Malfoy, maybe I should just succumb to the fate instead. I'm bound to serve him, no matter what I do." Draco laid his head on your shoulder, while you cried out your frustration. "Who does he think he is anyways? How and why does he know of the prophecy, of us in general? You said, quickly drying the tears on your cheeks before turning to face Draco. Draco's face was soft and sad, he grabbed your hands and looked at you. "Well before our prophecy, before the Donovan's left, they were umm- how do I say this." He was thinking hard before continuing. "You were actually going to marry Axel and I was going to be your second in command, we were all three going to be the trio of slytherin so to speak." Draco paused as you stared at your entangled hands. "Well, I'm marrying you. I have no place with Axel." You said reassuring Draco. Draco gave you a slight smile but kept the same sadness in his eyes. After a while you both left the bathroom and returned to the dining hall sitting away from the group that seemed to be fixated on Axel. You cursed under your breath when you and Draco sat next to each other. "I hate him already, and to think I thought he was a bit cute." You whispered, Draco smirked at you. "Well so much for thinking you wouldn't lose interest in me like Pansy seems to have." You poked his side lightly, "Hush Malfoy, I was just joking." You said, leaning your head on his shoulder to peer at your so-called-group mates. "We were supposed to be the greatest team on the dark side, and now we have been outcast from our group." You said, turning to whisper closely into his ear. He tensed when he felt how close you were to him, "Ugh, I was just beginning to feel better." You sighed, bringing your face closer to the base of his neck, his breathed hitched. "(Y/N), would you like to skip the rest of the day and go somewhere else. Away from our traitorous friends?" Draco asked you, you smiled and kissed his cheek, making him blush. "Of course, I thought you would never ask." You said, grabbing his hand and pulling him up out of his seat. When you both went to walk out you turned to look at Draco and glanced back at the table, all eyes were on you both.
After you both escaped the pestering glares and headed down to the forest, you noticed how nervous Draco was. "What's wrong, Malfoy?" You said, putting emphasis on his last name. You have been calling him by his last name a lot more since you had gotten back from the Lestrange mansion, and you noticed it had taken a toll on Draco considering you both shared an intimate moment in your furthering relationship. Draco shrugged his shoulders which caused you to frown, "Or don't tell me. Girls love that." You tried not to giggle at your sarcastic remark, making him smile and turn to you. "Hush it, nothing's wrong." He said, letting go of your hand. You frowned, "Girls also love, love, love liars. It's like every girls dream." Draco glanced at you and shook his head. You pouted but didn't tease him any further, venturing more and more into the woods. You were thinking hard when Draco stopped walking, making you run into him. "You could watch where you're going, (Y/N)." Draco said harshly, you glared at him. You didn't want to talk the whole way here, so now you're getting the silent treatment, you thought to yourself. You walked around the little area taking in all of the nature while Draco stared at you. "I didn't know you were so interested in nature," Draco said still watching you, you looked over at him and shrugged. Continuing your silence towards him. He sighed and sat down in the grass and moss, still watching you looking around the area. "I wonder what else I don't know about you," He was trying to get you to talk, but to no avail you didn't speak, wanting to agitate him even more. "Okay, I get it. We won't speak then." He said, crossing his legs and just staring at you. You walked around some, feeling his eyes follow you. You hate being stared at, it was a horrible feeling. After a while you sighed, then went and sat in front of Draco, mirroring him. "What did you want to talk about?' You asked him breaking the staring contest he seemed to have started. He didn't answer which made you roll your eyes. "Be childish, Malfoy. I guess I'll be going then?" You said, before you went to move he rolled his eyes at you, causing you to giggle. "I was just wondering if I really knew you at all, (Y/N)." You shrugged your shoulders thinking of all the memories you had of you and Draco.
You both were running through the woods, Draco chasing you. Once you came to the opening in the field you ran faster than you had been. Leaving Draco behind, yelling your name. Once you got to the oak tree in the middle of the field you stopped, breathing hard. You turned around and saw Draco catching up to you, you looked around trying to find a way to get away from him. You decided to climb up the tree. Once Draco got to the tree, you were already on a branch that was high over your head. "Come down here, (Y/N). I was just playing with you!" Draco yelled. You looked down at him and shook your head, wobbling on the thick branch. "Definitely not Draco! You were trying to kill me!" Draco stared up at you, raising his hand to shield the sun out of his eyes. "I was only playing, come down and we can go get cookies!" You weighed your options and chose to come down. "Fine, I'll come down on one condition." "What's that?" "I get to pick the next game we play after we eat." You yelled down, Draco paused for a minute, thinking about the decision he was about to make. "Fine," You smiled at him and tried to climb down. It was a lot harder getting down than it was getting up. "Draco, I'm stuck." He frowned, thinking for a brief moment before holding out his arms, "I'll catch you, (Y/N). Don't worry." You were reluctant, but soon gave in sliding off the branch and on top of him. Knocking him down into the tall grass. "Told you I would catch you," He said, giving his signature smirk. You rolled your eyes at him, "I thought you meant with your arms and not with your whole body, Draco." Draco smiled at you lovingly. You both were around 8 when you both started the school kid crushes, it was harmless. But now? Now it shows how the rest of your life will be.
