Hayden hurried down the corridors, trying to make it to the parking lot before three. It was two fifty seven, and she had to get there on time, she just had to! When she was about to leave she heard someone calling her name. Turning round she caught sight of three girls running toward her. "Hayden! Hayden wait! HAYDEN!" The three girls slid to a halt in front of her, gasping for breath. "Are-You-Coming-To-Lena's-Party-Tonight?" one of them panted. Hayden slapped her forehead with her palm. "Shit, I completely forgot! I'll have to check with my sister, but I honestly don't think I can!" Inside, Hayden smiled to herself. Perfect excuse. "I have to go now, but I'll text you guys later, yeah? Hayden didn't wait for the girls to reply, she just turned and ran. 'Please be there, please be there', she silently begged. Turning the corner she saw the yellow school buses and ran toward them in excitement. After quickly glancing around to check no-one was watching, she dived between buses 17 and 14 and was rewarded with hands on her waist and lips on her neck. "What took you so long" Liam whispered, and Hayden fought the urge to moan at the sensation she was feeling everywhere he was touching her. She tipped her head back, allowing his lips to skim her jawline. She gasped and he took this opportunity to properly kiss her. Tongues intwined, the two finally felt at peace. Liam ran his hands through her dark curls, while she desperately tried not to rip the shirt off his back. He lifted her up and she wrapped her legs round his waist. Before long, he had her up against the bus, and the two were kissing so passionately they got a fright when Hayden's phone buzzed. She looked at her phone out of the corner of her eye while Liam devoured her neck and collarbones, and pushed him off her quite violently. "What?" He asked, a tone of worry seeping into his voice. He sounded hurt, an Hayden instantly felt bad. "I'm sorry babe, it's just my sister. She's asking where I am! I was supposed to be home twenty minutes ago..." Liam sighed in exasperation. Ever since the world of the supernatural had been revealed to Hayden's older sister, she had done whatever she could to stop the two young lovers from being together. Hayden had failed to mention that she was a a former chimera and current werewolf, but her sister knew about Scott and the rest of his pack. She told all the teachers at school to keep Liam away from Hayden, and as her legal guardian, the school had no choice but to oblige. "I'll see you tonight, okay?" whispered Hayden. "Tonight?" A confused Liam muttered. "How on earth are you going to sneak out!? Your sister has a night off tonight. She'll be guarding you like she's your jailer!" Hayden smiled suggestively and said "Yes, but I'm going to Lena Arkwright's sweet 16." Liam looked at her as if asking why he would possibly be there, but then she added, "At least that's what she thinks..." Liam's eyes lit up in anticipation as he realised what she meant. He looked into his girlfriend's deep brown eyes and knew in that moment that he loved her.
