Rumour Has It

Liam looked at Scott, dumbfounded. He couldn't even find the strength to punch him! His gaze was stony, and Scott took a step back when he saw how angry he really was. He remembered the night in the library. Liam was the only one who could really kill him. Well, Hayden could too. But he had a feeling it was probably going to be Liam. "Did you-Did you sleep with her?" Liam asked, his voice sounding a little hurt, but mostly angry. Scott looked at the floor before looking at Stiles, then back to Liam. "No. I didn't sleep with Hayden." Liam breathed out. He knew he wasn't lying. Scott put a hand on Liam's shoulder. "Is there any possibility she could be pregnant? Like any? At all?" Liam thought about it. "Um, I'm not sure, we don't, uh, tend to keep track." His face was bright red, and Scott struggled not to laugh at him. "Okay, well we'll have to find out. I mean you'll have to find out." Scott added, when he saw Liam's face. "Look, just go find Hayden? Rumours like this have gone round before, with Allison and I." Scott looked away as tears started to form in his eyes. "She was a wreck. Her dad also found out. She nearly had to move back to France. She would've, if she hadn't told her dad she was still a virgin." Liam smirked as he listened to the story, but then his face fell. "Shit. What if Valerie finds out!? I'm dead meat. Literally, she gave me a graphic description of what she would do to me if anything ever happened..." Scott looked at Liam, the tears replaced with laughter. "Liam? Just go to Hayden. Now. She needs you." Liam smiled gratefully at Scott, and then turned to walk away. He saw the familiar dark head enter the girls bathroom, and it was closely followed by a strawberry blonde. He groaned and turned back to Scott. Scott ran his hands through his hair. "Uh, guys locker rooms, 10 minutes? I'll get everyone out." Liam nodded and ran over to the girls bathrooms. He wasn't going in. But hopefully she had her phone on her. When she didn't pick up, he tried Lydia. "Liam, this isn't a good time... " Liam rolled his eyes. "Just meet me in the guys changing rooms as soon as possible. Bring Hayden. Bye." Lydia hung up, and looked at Hayden. The young beta was crouched against the wall, tears streaming down her face. Lydia went to pull her up, and in doing so, pulled her into a hug. "Hayden, we gotta go. The guys want to see us. Come on." Hayden got shakily to her feet, and Lydia lurched  forward to catch her as she nearly fell over. The two girls clung to each other as they left the bathroom, trying to ignore the judging eyes of everyone they passed.

Liam paced the locker room, running his hands through his hair constantly. Scott was sitting on on of the benches, deep in thought. Stiles was trying to figure out the lock on Coach's door, he'd had enough complaints already, that lock needed broken before all the teenagers in Beacon Hills died of deprivation. All three boys turned to look at the door as Hayden was ushered in by Lydia. Lydia then shut the door and locked it. Hayden was staring at Liam, her eyes streaming. Liam ran towards her, and she collapsed in his arms. The three seniors watched, as the couple consoled each other. Scott had to look away, they were way too much like him and Allison. Hayden was sobbing openly now, and Liam could be seen holding her and whispering comforting things to her. Scott was the one who broke them apart, earning two death stares from his betas. "Hayden, we just wanna know... Are you... you know..?" Hayden stared at Scott like he was stupid. "NO you idiot!" And then she burst into a fresh flood of tears, and if looks could kill, Scott would be flat on his back right now, because the look Liam face him was enough to kill anyone. Liam turned his attention back to Hayden, only to find she'd stopped crying. Her face was now in shock. "My sister. Oh my god, if this gets back to her... She'll kill you Scott, and Liam... She'll kill you too... " I need to go home and tell her it's not true! And I need to stop her finding out. Will you help?" The others looked at each other. Hayden glanced at them, confused. "What?" and then she realised. Val already knew. And she was so dead meat.
