Liam ran his hands through Hayden's hair, over and over again. She was lying across his chest, playing with his hands. They'd been like this for a few hours now, just silent. All of a sudden, Hayden turned round so that her head was lying on his chest. He raised his eyebrows and chuckled slightly. She huffed and he looked at her, surprised. "What's up?" he said, his voice laced with concern. "I just wish our lives weren't so darn-" " Shitty?" Liam suggested. Hayden looked at him, almost amused. "I was gonna say messed up, but that works too." Liam laughed lightly and stroked her hair. "Yeah, I know. It's annoying. But hey, you and me? We can get through anything. I mean, you kissed one of my best friends, and I still love you. You sure there's not some sort of sorcery going on? " Hayden smirked and cupped Liam's cheek. "Yeah... So, we have to go back to school tomorrow. And I need you to promise something." Liam groaned. He knew exactly what she was gonna say. " Okay, I won't rip Scott's throat out. But I'm not promising I won't punch him." Hayden looked at him, with eyes that said 'Come on. ' "Fine! But only if I'm allowed to yell at him. " Hayden rolled her eyes and nodded. She sat up and pulled her hair to one side. She slid her shoes off, and chucked her jacket on the floor. Then she snuggled in close to Liam, resting her head in the crook of his neck. "Hey, Hayden?" Liam asked quietly. She looked at him sleepily. "You know I love you, right?" Hayden smiled and nodded, leaning in so their lips could meet. "Forever. I love you too." And they spent the rest of the night in each other's arms, sleeping, kissing, laughing.

Hayden sat up. Where was she? She remembered last night's happenings as she saw her boyfriend snoring his head off next to her. She sighed lovingly, and jumped on top of him. He groaned as she kissed his face and neck. "Please, wake me up every morning like this." Hayden laughed and clambered off him. She wandered over to Liam's closet. She always kept some clothes at his, and he had some his stuff at hers. She dragged on a black vest top and jeans, and yesterdays white converse. "Liam, can I borrow your team jacket? I don't have my red hoodie." Liam sat up and yawned. " Go ahead. Oh I hate mornings. " He struggled out of bed, running his hands through his hair before heading to the bathroom. Hayden rolled her eyes and went over to his chest of drawers, where she knew the top right drawer held her spare make up and hair stuff. She put on a full face of makeup before brushing out her hair into it's natural dark curls. She dragged Liam's jacket on, breathing in the smell of his aftershave and cologne. She checked herself in the mirror before knocking on the bathroom door. "Babe? Come on, we gotta go or we're gonna be late." Liam emerged with a towel round his waist, smelling of mint and the smell she loved most, his aftershave. He wrapped his arms round her waist. "You look beautiful." She leaned in to kiss him gently before pushing him towards the closet. He got changed while she brushed her teeth and stuff, into his usual baseball shirt and jeans. The couple were impossibly cute together, their outfits matching unintentionally everyday. Hayden exited the bathroom, smiling widely. Liam grabbed her hand, and jumped out of the window before helping her out. "What's wrong with doors?" she asked, leaping onto the branch that hung outside his room. "Dad." Hayden nodded and carried on down the tree. Liam only just remembered his school bag, and then threw himself down the tree. Hayden caught him at the bottom, and laughed as he brushed himself down. Then they strolled hand in hand to Hayden's car, and then they drove to school.

Liam helped Hayden out of the car before grabbing her hand and his bag, then walking toward the school. The couple were the talk of the school at the moment, and lots of different rumours were going round. Liam intended to put an end to this, by claiming Hayden as his own. People were saying that they were broken up, that Hayden's sister was disapproving, and that she decided it was best to move away. But both knew this wasn't true, and smiled at each other when they saw everyone's shocked faces as they walked in together. Hayden saw Scott and Stiles at his locker, and lowered her head. Liam saw them too, and took a step forward, growling quietly. Hayden pulled him back, whispering in his ear. He calmed, and walked to his locker. Him and Hayden were lucky enough to have lockers next to each other, which meant he could keep an eye on her. Hayden grabbed her books and then waited beside Liam. "Walk me to class?" she asked, before Liam took her hand and headed towards the science labs. Liam glared at Scott as he passed, and gripped Hayden's hand a little tighter. When it was time for them to part, Liam kissed Hayden passionately, and achieved a few cheers from the other students. Hayden blushed and kissed him back, before dodging into her classroom. She took her normal seat at the back, beside Corey. She looked at Liam, who sat next to Mason, and he smiled at her. Boy, this was gonna be hard. Seeing him so close, and not being able to be next to him. She suddenly noticed the looks she was getting from some of the other students, and was confused. They were looking at her in disgust and disbelief. She looked at Corey, who was studying his notes a little too hard. "Corey. Talk. Now." Corey sighed and looked at her. "You really wanna know?" Hayden stared at him. "Fine. The rumours you heard about aren't the only ones... There's worse." Corey began to tell her what had truly been said about her and Liam's disappearance from school, while at the same time trying not to break one of his good friends hearts.

"Nice one Dunbar." "Ooooh, guess who's in deep shit..." "There's gonna be trouble in paradise..." Liam looked around in wonder, and horror. Why was everyone talking to him like this? He looked at Hayden who was hiding her face with her hair. He brushed it back gently, and turned her to look at him. He was instantly concerned when he saw her eyes filled with tears. "Hayden? What's going on?" Hayden just closed her eyes and burst into tears. Before Liam could ask any more questions, Lydia ran up to Hayden and hugged her tightly. "Come on hun, we gotta talk." Liam squeezed Hayden's arm gently before Lydia dragged her away. He felt himself being pulled backwards by someone, and he turned only to see the person he least wanted to see right now. "Scott. What the hell do you want?" Scott glanced around, and lowered his voice. "Liam, I know you hate me right now, but you need to hear this." Liam rolled his eyes. "Nothing that comes out of your mouth is of any value to me McCall. You nearly destroyed the only good thing to happen to me in a long time." Liam turned to walk away, but was pulled back by Scott. "Hey! I'm your alpha, and your friend. And your Captain. Liam smirked. "Not anymore. I quit the team, and your not my alpha anymore. And as for being my friend, I think you lost the right to that title a long time ago." Scott looked at Liam in surprise. "What do you mean I'm not your alpha? Are you going Omega now? Hayden won't like that." Liam instantly bared his teeth and growled, before remembering where he was. "Don't talk about her. Ever. We are leaving. To find a new alpha, who won't try to rip us apart." Scott looked at him desperately. "That'll just make the rumours worse! You can't go. Be omega, but don't go." Liam was taken aback but the desperation in his voice. "What rumours?" Scott looked at the ground. "What rumours, Scott? Tell me." Scott sighed. "Everyone's saying stuff about Hayden. That she's pregnant." Liam gulped. He was about to speak, but Scott interrupted him. "With my baby."
