"Lucy Paige Is Dead"
I opened my eyes and a yellow mop of hair was staring down at me.
"j-josh?"
"it's me" he smiled.
"b-but I swear-" I tried getting up.
"don't" he gently pushed me back down and took hold of my hand.
"h-how?" I ask tiredly.
"i couldn't let you just leave"
"j-josh I do love you. I didn't mean anything I said before" I stammer.
"you don't need to explain. mariyah did. I don't blame you" he says.
"really?" I ask happily.

"anything for you" he says, caressing my cheeks. I couldn't help but smile widely. "you look so dorky and cute when you smile" he compliments me.
"who's that?" I ask, referring to his buzzing phone. "mariyah" he says.
it was non stop buzzing and ringing.

I handed it back to him. "can I get up?"
"yes you may" I got up but he threw his arms round me and picked me up.
"not what I meant but I'm fine with this!" I say.
"yes you are" he took me down to the main room where police were investigating. they had to ask my questions and I had to show them all the texts, so did josh. there was an ambulance outside that had now left. and a familiar black car.

then banging on the door. our neighbour across the street called daisy had heard what happened so she came over to. she answered the door and mariyah ran in, tyler behind her.
"where is she!?" she looked terrible.
her eye make up was all around her eyes and her cheeks were stained with tears. "baby calm down okay?"
"I can't calm down! my best frien-"
"is here" I say, as josh puts me down.
she cried harder and hugged me.
"are you okay?" she sobbed.
"I'm fine. are you?" I ask confused.
"I am now I know your okay"
"damn josh why can't we be like that?"
