I was back in San Diego, because of the pending trouble he was in, Odell remained in New York to deal with his pending legal issues. He had not been charged with anything yet because the photographer had agreed to settle out of court for the right amount. Odell and his lawyers were trying to figure out what that amount was.

It was Tuesday and I was just leaving work and on my way to meet up with Christian. I was still surprised by his interview with Jemele Hill. He not only took some of the pressure off of us on social media, but he had turned into a new heartthrob overnight in the process.

His name had trended all day that Sunday after the interview aired live and most of Monday with women of all ages, shades, and backgrounds sending their love to him. I just knew he was eating it up, too.

He reached out to me after I sent him a thank you text and he asked if we could meet up to talk. After what he had done it was the least I could do to thank him. We agreed to meet at a neutral place- Corey's house.

I parked my car in Corey's driveway and made my way up to his front door. I knocked on the door and he answered with a huge grin on his face.

"Hey, Dee." He said opening the door wide enough for me to walk through.

We gave each other a hug and I followed him inside. We made small talk as he led me to his living room where Christian was standing up from the couch to greet me.

"It's so good to see you two together again." Corey said in exaggeration looking back and forth between the two of us. I stepped closer inside of the small space and Corey sandwiched us in a hug. "This reminds me of when we were in high school."

I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but laugh lightly because he was being so silly. After we all released from the hug we remained standing around his coffee table.

"Man, I thought I'd never see you two in a room together again." Corey said his hands on his hips. "Dee, you better get you an autograph before this guy goes Hollywood on us."

I looked down at the love-seat and sat down on it, "Hollywood?" I asked looking at Christian with confusion. Christian sat down on the long couch across from me leaving Corey still standing.

"Yeah, ever since he did that interview with ESPN, everybody and they mama have been calling to get their hands on this guy." Corey bragged pointing at Christian who was shaking his head as if he didn't want to talk about it. "Can you believe that show The Bachelor even called asking about him?"

I looked at Christian, "The Bachelor?"

He shrugged nonchalantly, "I haven't decided anything yet." He told me then pointed at Corey, "don't listen to this fool, he wants me to take everything they call asking me about."

"That's because you need to take all of these opportunities." Corey stressed. "You need to capitalize on all of this while you can and you'll be able to get hired by any architecture firm in the country."

"He's right about that." I told Christian actually agreeing with Corey. I wanted Christian to get a job back doing what he loved. I wanted him to be happy.

"Like I said I'm thinking about it." He told us both.

Then the three of us awkwardly stood among each other.
