Japan POV:

"Japan! Japan! Japannnnnnnnnn! Wake up wake up wake up!"

I opened my eyes. Who was it shouti-

The curtain was pushed to a side.

"Ow!" I cried.

Something had trod on my foot as it bounded onto my bed. That certain something, or I should say, someone, started jumping up and down on the bed, messing up the bed sheets and wrecking the springs.

"Japan! Wake up!" China soared into the air, hit his head on the framework of the bed, and crashed back down on the bed in a sitting position.

"You landed on my foot." I stated.

"Sorry-aru!" China looked the least bit sorry, but he continued on. "Come on, wake up-aru. I've got something to show you-aru." He shot off to the living room, leaving me alone.

Seriously? My older brother, behaving like an excited toddler? I rolled my eyes and rolled out of bed, slowly making my way to the living room. China was at the window. "Look here." He moved over so I could see-

And I realized why China was going ballistic.

One word, white. The whole world was white.

It was strange.

It was...beautiful.

"You like it-aru?" China grinned.

I sought for words to describe the scene, but found none. "It's... very...... nice." I nodded my head in agreement.

"This is called snow-aru. It comes a few times a year in winter-aru. We can go outside and play if you want.-aru" China said.

"It's beautiful." I murmured.

"Of course! Shall we go-aru?" China asked.

"Ok-" I was about to answer when China cut me off.

"Great, so let's go-aru!" China's words tumbled over each other in his excitement. "Oh yes, it's really cold so I advise you to wear a thicker coat and gloves and remember to wear your boots and-" He rattled off his list of instructions at the speed of sound and shot around the house looking for his coat.

For once, I obeyed him, and went to get my coat, which was hanging up neatly by the door. My gloves were in the pockets of the coat so I put them on and opened the door. A blast of cold air greeted me, and I stepped outside to wear my boots.

Just as I finished, China reappeared next to me with his coat and gloves on. He tugged on his boots and had brought a mysterious brown sack with him. I didn't question him, though.

"Come."

I took my first step onto this thing China had called snow. It was lighter than I imagined, and it sank up to my ankles when I stepped on it.

China apparently was used to this sort of thing, and was racing around, throwing snow into the air.

I picked some snow up, and squeezed it into a ball. Hmmm. This could be a good weapon for a snow- "Ow!"

A white ball smashed into my back and instantly disintegrated into white powder.

"Gotcha!" China laughed. "You try it too-aru! See if you can hit me-aru!" He danced around, confident that I would miss.

I took the snowball I had made and carefully aimed. Then I flung it as hard as I could.

"Missed!" China ducked and laughed more. "You really need some practice-aru."

Annoyed, I tried again.

"Missed again-aru!" China dodged and teased, racing to a stop in front of me.

Irritated, I threw myself at him, knocking him off balance and into the snow. I jumped onto his back, and held his face down in the snow. "How's this for size?" I triumphed.

China choked, and he slowly pulled himself up, with me hanging off his back. He rubbed the snow out of his eyes, his face blue.

He didn't seem angry, but more playful. "Aiya, how did you get so strong-aru?" China breathed heavily.

He picked up the brown sack, which he had dropped on the ground earlier, and wrapping his arms around my legs. I curled my arms around his neck. "There's something else I want to show you-aru."
