The black haired man was having a duel with one of my commanders I sent to defend Nanking. It was quick. I watched as Japan faked a right jab, and then swung his sword in an arc and stabbed the man through his chest. Japan drew his sword out quickly, and flicked the blood onto the ground. Then, he looked up and his eyes met mine.

My heart hardened with determination. I fought my way to him, pushing myself harder. Japan probably had the same idea and pushed his way to me.

We had fought our way to the banks of the Yangtze River. I saw his head about a couple of metres away from me.

With renewed strength, I launched myself forward. My sword came into contact with his. He looked into my eyes, and parried my sword away,

The real battle had begun.

I faced Japan, at the banks of the Yangtze river, ready to duel.

Japan brought out a second sword. This one was shorter than the first, and had one edge, more like a knife then a sword.

"New skills?" I smirked. A warrior could only fight with one. Two would mean dividing energy and strength between both weapons, making it difficult to fight and easier to make mistakes.

Then Japan attacked. He lashed out with his right hand, holding the smaller sword. I blocked it easily, remembering the play fighting we used to do. It was predictable. I always taught him to start with his right hand, and then strike later with the left.

Japan then brought down two swords at one go. What the- I have never seen him do this before!

I quickly swung my arm from the side, and pushed both swords away.

Japan didn't give up his double sword technique. He sent a flurry of attacks, one after the other. Sometimes, he trapped my sword with the longer one and tried to deliver a blow with the shorter one.

Concentrate on the movement of the swords, China. I said to myself. If you watch the swords, nothing can go wrong-

Japan dropped the sword in his right hand.
