The Past and the Present: Nichu Hetalia JapanxChina

World War 2

Right after Japan left me, World War 2 was beginning to take shape. I could see why Japan plans were centering around being powerful. He had built his empire so great that he began to take lands away from other countries by force. He probably had a whole list of countries to get even with, steal from, or even destroy.

Unfortunately for me, I was on that list.

He attacked after his betrayal.

"China! China! This is terrible news!" A messenger came racing up to me from afar, on a horse. As he drew nearer, I saw that his face was dripping with sweat.

"What's going on?" I inquired.

"I have come with a message." The man stopped to catch his breath. "Japan...he...Japan has declared war!"

"Japan...declaring war?" I knew he hated me, but I didn't expect him to be ready to fight so soon.

The man nodded quickly. "He has brought together his armies and is crossing the sea to fight!"

Panic surged through my body. I forced myself to stay calm, though. "Where is he heading?"

The man rolled out a map. "He's going to attack Shanghai, I'm most sure of it. Then he's heading for Nanking and-"

"Right." I cut in. "Send messages to Shanghai to increase their defense against Japan. Send more troops to defend Nanking as well. Tell every city to stay on their guard in case Japan decides to attack them."

"But, sir, by the time I reach Nanking, the Japanese would have arrived!" The man turned to get on his horse.

I paused for a moment, thinking hard. Then I straightened up, full of determination. "I'll go and intercept them."

"Jia! Jia!" I spurred my horse to a gallop, with thousands of troops following me behind. Even

at this rate, we'll never reach the border before the Japanese do!

I didn't really have a plan. I just decided there and then that I was going to defend my place, even if it meant going against Japan.

I heard war cries in the distance. Strange. We haven't reached the border-oh.

We were going to reach Nanking soon. The capital.

This is not good.

(SOOO SORRY FOR THE LATE UPDATE!! I'm also real sorry thats its sooo short this time...maybe I should do a real long one next? Writer's block is really getting on my nerves... I'm not going to make any excuses but JUST REALLY SORRY! Oh and you should all listen to Aiya 4000 Years by China. Its real good. See you hopefully on Wednesday! TNT out:)
