The light was piercing. Yet, I forced my eyes open.

The mysterious red head was staring back at me. He had mischievous green eyes and an easygoing smile.

"You're alive! England told me to babysit you until you're well enough to walk. Then, he wants to hold a meeting with you to discuss Japan."

I opened my mouth to speak and my head immediately went on fire.

"Ok, right. You shouldn't talk right now. Just rest a little more." He advised.

I ignored him. "Who are you?"

"Oh!" The young man laughed. "I'm England's brother, Scotland! Pleased to meet you!"

I was about to raise my arm in greeting. That was when I registered the pain in my right arm.

"What...happened to me?"

"Oh, you got into a fight with Japan for who knows what so England told me to swoop in and pick you up before Japan batters you to bits." Scotland said matter-of-factly.

"So you were watching me all along?" I asked in surprise.

"Um...."

A brown, curly haired young boy with emereld greeen eyes peeked through the doorway. I noticed there were two locks of hair in a different shade, curling over eaach ear, as if they were ram horns."Yep! He was being a total creep and was watching you while telling us what was going on! But I must say, he'ld make a terrible cricket commentator!"

"Get out, New Zealand! You didn't even help at all, you idiot! And what was that about my commentating skills? You sure you don't want me to stop your beer and rugby balls exports like the last time?" Scotland glared at him.

"Nothing!" New Zealand winked at me cheekily and his head disappeared from the doorway.

"What was that all about?" I demanded. 

"Oh, that was New Zealand. He just came over to ask if I wanted to play rugby, but I turned him down because I was too busy. With particular matters." He looked pointedly at me.

"Ok, that's nice." I rolled my eyes. "So how long were you watching me?"

"Not too long ago, just when Japan started throwing those cool ninja stars at you. Man, I wish I could have one!" Scotland replied.

"Wait...then why didn't you save me earlier! You could have prevented me from breaking my arm!"

"Well, I was dictating the fight to America. New Zealand was also kinda eavesdropping. They seemed to enjoy it. Also, England never specified to me when to pick you up. He only said that I have to do it before Japan hacks you to bits so I figured I could sit back and enjoy some real-life action. By the way, that Japan dude's sword skills are real cool. Did you teach him that?"

"WHAT!" I hated this guy.

Scotland laughed. "Chill, mate. At least I patched you up. You needed 12 stitches on your left arm, and 7 on your forehead. Oh, and the scar on your back. Was that an old scar? I didn't dare to stitch it because I might wreck it even more." He put his hands behind his head in a relaxed position, and leant back on his chair. His voice became serious."At least you're alive. That's all that matters."

Hmm, this guy had a point. "I guess you're right." I sighed.

"Because if you weren't alive, England would wring my neck." Scotland added.

"YOU SELF-CENTERED-"

The war between me and Japan had continued for another 14 years. When I joined the band of idiots, namely the Allies, I was already suffering from defeats and wounds that I lost count. My war with Japan had started earlier than the official World War 2.

At long last, when America finally dropped bombs on Japan's major cities, did Japan relent his attack on me. America really picks the best times to drop his bombs, doesn't he? If he had dropped one 14 years earlier, it would have saved me a great deal of damage.  

Even still, after the war, the Allies were still arguing over which parts of my land they should take from me, as a repayment of their 'kindness'. Aiya.....there can be never peace in this world, can there?

(HAHA GUYS! Okay, so this is Scotland. I'm sorry if I personified him wrong, but well...what can I say, I'm only at Season 6 episode 6.Oh well. LAURA HERE YOU GO. Shout out to LaurasNotPerfectwho kept pestering me about Scotland. (and New Zealand). I really couldn't fit New Zealand in that well with a main character becuz when I read the history, New Zealand and China didn't really have much of an alliance in World War 2, whereas to Scotland, who actually helped supply ammunition to China. But yeah, he still had a short cameo. GO NEW ZEALAND~! RUGBY, BEER AND CRICKET! CRICKET! TNT out:)
