As I made my way out of the office I came face to face with Mr dubrow the mysterious physics teacher, which happened to be the next class on my timetable....
The moment I walked inside... the whole class turned and started staring at me....
" I do not tolerate lateness to my class " said a stern looking man who had a seemingly permanent scowl on his face.
"I apologize for my delay, I had some matters to take care of"
I replied casually, he then stopped scribbling on the board to take a closer look at me.
Apparently he was surprised at my dauntlessness...
"And what matters could be more important than this lesson"
"A whole lot of things actually " I replied icily
After a few stares he then decided to drop the matter.
"I'ii just let you go this once because we have never met before but let this be a warning to you...
Mr ehh... He inquired
"Mr Grey "
I said completing the sentence for him..
But he threw his nose up as if I had just said something really disgusting.
"No shades allowed, take it off"
"I'ii prefer to leave it on, I don't feel so well without them"
He regarded me keenly,his eyes filled with contempt.
"Are we going to have a problem, Mr Grey ?
"Because if so, you are free to leave and fail this subject for the rest of the semester"
"The choice is yours" He said with a smirk....
"Hmm" I weighed my options. Like hell I didn't care about my grades because after all I came here to avenge my parents death and not to learn about things I already know of.
But something about this man made me want to stay.
So I reluctantly took off my shades
He then asked me to take a seat, which I did and he resumed his lesson
Everyone seemed to have been holding their breaths during our conversation...
What could have made this students so scared of this man
I thought to myself but my thoughts were interrupted by someone tapping me with a pencil
My vampire reflexes kicked in as I quickly caught a hold of the pencil.
"May I help you"
I said to the person who was tapping me.
"Nah just wanted to warn you about the scorpion, like hell you got off pretty easy, I mean this man is all about discipline and shit"
"OLIVIA!!! " screamed Mr dubrow
"Is there something you would like to share with the rest of the class" he said in sarcasm
Then the girl stood up and I could sense the defiance from her stance. As she cocked her head bodly and said "No sir"
"Good then I suggest you be silent unless you want to join your friends in detention"
"Sure thing sir"
Douchebag.. She muttered under her breath and the whole class roared with laughter
"SILENCE" he roared and everyone fell in a grave silence....
Hmph...
I turned back to her,
"You really should take your own advice love"
She looked amused and as I turned back I had a ghost of a smile on my lips.
Mr dubrow who was apparently called "the scorpion" finally rounded up the lesson with a truckload of homework before leaving the class.
As all of my classmates groaned and cursed after him....
