The doorbell rang and reena opened the door to a smug faced douchebag who still looked as annoying as I remember.
"Lovely flowers for the lovely lady"....
Klaus said as he kissed Reena's hand and handed her the flowers.
"Yellow daffodils !! Exclaimed Reena, my favorite.......
" Thank you Nikolaus
"Please call me Klaus"
"No need for such formalities..
" Alas! here stands the little vampire, I didn't see you there......hope all is well."
Klaus inquiried.
But I simply just rolled my eyes ...
" All was well......right before you showed up"....I replied coldly
My countenance filled with contempt...hiding no disregard I held for him as I briskly walked past him into the living room.
But Klaus simply shrugged it off and kept pressing on, asking all sorts of annoying questions such as; How have you been holding up at your new school ?
"Doesn't it bother you that you keep going to high school all your life and you might never graduate to college... cause of your face" he added smugly...
I remained impassive to his rude comments and carried on with my business.
I was about to walk out but he suddenly caught a hold of my arm and pulled me back and whispered...
Look here, little vampire....I'm back in town and I intend to stay for a while so your gonna have to get used to that.
A strong wave of hate washed over me as I regarded the hand he used to hold me in place..
If you ever touch me again, I'II kill you....
"And you might as well cut the romeo act if not I'II have no other choice than to tell Reena the real reason why you left Denver."
I could feel the fear in his eyes....my inner god triumphed on how I could make this pompous fool cower due to my threats..
When he left the reins of his thought and jolted back to reality...... He smiled and got out of my way and went over to Reena
They started talking in hushed whispers...
Although I could still make out what they were saying and I couldn't believe my ears.....
He was actually telling her the truth and that most certainly wasn't part of the deal....
I mentally slapped myself for blackmailing him.
Soon the whispers turned to yelling.....
After a while the yelling ceased and they both got out of the room
I busied myself with the television trying to act like I didn't hear about their argument..
"Aidan, may I have a word?"
called Reena...
"Sure"
I then followed her to the kitchen.
"Are you alright " I asked in concern..
"I am fine" reena replied. Shrugging her shoulders.
