We were all gob-smacked after we heard the prophecy, Klaus kept arguing that Damien wasn't strong enough to destroy the 'unseen world' but the shadow just remained silent observing our reactions.... I stayed silent throughout the entire ordeal unsure of what to say..
For over a century I've searched for this vampire that murdered my parents but now it all seems like this is way past a vendetta, it's much bigger than that for now it involves both my world and the danger in which the human world would be in. I gripped the edge of the seat so tightly that it snapped, I was burning inside with a deep sense of anger and powerlessness... If only if I could stop him before any of this comes to pass.
I was called out of my thoughts by the shadow who beckoned on me to follow her, I quickly looked around to see whether Reena or Klaus were aware of what was going on but they were too absorbed in their conversation to notice my absence.
She took me into a separate room far from the living room."You see my boy, I see great pain within you and from that pain and anger you draw your power...I have reason to believe that the ancestors called you to me to tell me that they have found someone worthy enough to handle the gravity of the sword of fire..."
When she was done speaking, I just stared at her in astonishment.. I wonder where she's going with this I think to myself, and almost as if she read my mind she said " I know you must be overwhelmed with everything happening so fast but there is no reason to fear...she continued her stroll around the room while I followed closely behind, I caught sight of an enchanting glowing red orb(ball)I reached out to touch it but in a flash she was beside me "don't touch that" she hissed at me, "it is used to trap the soul of gullible men..."
I instantly withdrew my hand and mumbled an apology to her.She was still going on about the prophecy until we were interrupted by the blaring sound of an old cuckoo clock saying *cuckoo cuckoo* I then glanced at the clock only to gasp in horror when I saw that the time was after 3 going to 4pm and I was supposed to meet Liv at the park by the fifteenth hour.
"Uhmm guys I say calling the attention of Reena and Klaus, as much as I would love to stay and discuss the prophecy I really have to go for I have another meeting with an acquaintance.
" I'll need the keys to the car Reena because I am already late as it is...I then bade farewell to the Shadow woman, "be careful my boy, for danger lurks in every corner" she said staring wide eyed at me, I just smiled saying
"I'll try and stay out of danger's way unless it comes searching for me, it was a pleasure to meet you Madame kage and I hope we can finish up our discussion some other time.
I started to head towards the door then Reena stood up and followed me outside." where exactly are you going to with my car,she enquired
"I'm going to see Olivia"
"The acquaintance? Asked Reena with a raised brow
" yes the acquaintance " she then smiled "here you go, she said while placing the keys on my palm then she engulfed me in a tight hug and whispered in my ear
" if you as much as scratch that car, I would make you rue the day you did that"
With that she walked back into the little cottage while I got into the Porsche and sped off to winterfell to meet Liv, some part of me doubted whether she'd still be there considering the time was already 3 5& :30 I pushed the thought off my mind.••••••••••••<>••••••••••••
When I finally got to winter park, I turned off the car and set off to find Liv...I didn't search for too long before I saw her seated on the park bench and she decided to string josh along (the same boy I've seen with his hands draped over her shoulders numerous times) an unpleasant thought crossed my mind but I decided to ignore it and made my way up to them. On sighting me she stood up with her hands on her waist, she didn't look too pleased to see me and I wouldn't blame her because I didn't stick to the time she gave, I was about to say something but she beat me to it "you sure took your sweet time" she said her voice dripping with sarcasm...
