Walk in the woods

I got home by sunrise only to see Reena and Klaus outside waiting for me....

Reena was the first to sight me

she then raced towards me with a look of relief mixed with anger...

"Where the bloody hell have you been?". " we've been worried sick about you"

I then glanced over at Klaus who was still faraway glaring at me from a distance.

"Its none of your business"

I stated coldly

I started to make my way to the door but Klaus was beside me in a flash.... I never saw it coming but I felt the pain of his fist hitting me square on my stomach.

"I stopped for a second registering what just happened..... I wanted to retaliate but I decided against it.

" I wouldn't do that again if I were you"
Before I could say anything else.....

I saw Klaus raise his fists to punch me again but I easily deflected it.

"You can't expect me to fall for the same trick twice" I say with a dark edge to my voice...

"Apologize to Reena" Klaus said with a dangerous glint in his eyes.

I then sneered

"For what?"

"Getting back together with a dick again....yeah I guess I should apologize because I know sooner or later your just gonna walk out on her again and I can't promise to be there to fix your mistakes AGAIN"

I said laying emphasis on the word AGAIN!!

All the while Reena stood quietly at a corner watching us intently.

"I believe there is only one dick in our midst right now and that would be you"

Klaus stated drily

"We've been up and about this goddamn town searching for your ass all because Reena can't even trust you to be responsible"

"Alas!"

"Here you are, alive and fine!"

Then she asks about your whereabouts and you dare speak so flippantly to her.

"If it were back in my days, they would have had your head just for making such utterances".

I suddenly felt guilty as I glanced at Reena.

" My apologizes for making you worry about me but I can take care of myself "

I went closer to Reena then stroked her chin as I whispered "

why do you have to worry so much about me"

"Because I care about you" she replies firmly, "and you are not to frighten me like that ever again"....

She advances to hug me but I pull away from her and vanish before she could get too close.

At sunset

" I'm going out for some air"

I said as I made my way to the door.

"Be back before sunrise" bellowed reena from across the room

"Sure thing Mom" I replied rolling my eyes as i stepped outside shutting the door firmly behind me before zooming off to LUX.

I arrived early and I was relieved I hadn't missed the show yet.
