TORMENT

The rain started to fall and I looked outside the window only to see Klaus and Reena kissing under the rain.......

A deep sense of despair overwhelmed me.

As I lost every shred of hope of me and Reena being something more because at that moment I saw that Klaus was all that really made her happy.

So I grabbed my jacket and left the house in despair.

TORN
I put on my headphones and connected it to my iPhone and played a song by Adele title *first love*

π forgive me first love π
π Ooh I'm tired...... π
π I need to get away π
π To feel again.... π
π Try to understand π
π Don't get so close, π
π To change my mind π

I don't know how long I walked or where I intended to go but I knew that I was faraway from the house which was what I wanted and then I saw a park in the distance so I went there and sat on the park bench listening to my song in the cold rain.....

The only sounds that could be heard was my music and the soft pitter-patter of the rain in the background.

As I was drifting into the music......

I was brought back to reality by a familiar voice.

"Fancy seeing you here pretty boy."

Said the voice...

Which I immediately recognized

"it belongs to defiant girl from school."

I looked up at her,

She was standing up with her hands on her hips dressed like a Rockstar.

I simply sighed whilst pretending not to notice her,
In hopes that she would just leave me be, but the girl was completely oblivious to the situation.

She still went ahead and sat beside me saying

"You seem sad"
"Wanna talk about it?"

but I replied in the negative.

You know I always come here whenever am sad, I call it "my quiet place "

She said deep in thought as if recalling a painful memory as she looked ahead at a little girl walking with her parents while laughing at her brother who was munching happily on a doughnut until he smeared jelly all over his shirt which his mum quickly wiped off from him.

I then took off my headphones

As I regarded her keenly...

Observing her carefully as I put the pieces together as if I was solving a jigsaw puzzle.

" I'm sorry for your loss"
"Do you want to talk about it?"  I offered this time unsure of what her reply was going to be.

Rather she smiled and said "you're a lot smarter than you look...."

I didn't know whether to be offended or consider it as a compliment so I just kept mute and urged her to carry on..

"There's really not much to say about it, dad died in a car accident, Ma died a year later out of a heart attack..."
"Guess her poor heart couldn't bear the thought of never seeing my dad again."

"That's rather unfortunate"
I say actually pitying her.

So what about you?

"I bet you leave in a fancy mansion with servants at your Beck and call and parents that love ya"

She said daring me to prove her wrong

Now it was my turn to smile as I compared my actual life to the fairytale one defiant girl made up for me.

I then said

Like hell that will be a pretty boring life

As I recalled my previous life with my family..

Besides its not very nice to judge a book by it's cover I say looking ahead at the same family who were now sitting in a restaurant and sharing a nice meal and laughs..

Oh...migosh I thought that_____ she started trying to explain but I cut her off saying

"Its not your fault......you didn't know." No need to feel guilty.

Do you mind if I asked how it happened she asked cautiously.

Hmph......

"Well you see I had it all but one night it was all taken away from me" I said stoically

"I'm really sorry"

"Don't be, like I previously said its not your fault...."

"But once I'm done with their killer, he will be sorry" I said in a very cold voice that seemed foreign to even me.

We then sat in silence......

Until she broke the silence saying "So I was planning on heading down to a club not too far from, if you're interested you can come with?"

"It will be fun" she urged whilst fiddling with a bunch of keys

"Its fine, I was thinking of staying here a while longer" I say politely declining her offer...

She was astonished by my response.....

"But your gonna get soaked out here plus you could catch a cold she said with concern."

I just smirked

"Trust me luv, I don't catch colds."

"But I guessing going to one club won't be so bad"

Her expression immediately changed to that of joy and relief.

Then we both left on her bike to a club called LUX.

WRITER'S NOTE
This chapter didn't turn out to be as long as I hoped but don't worry i'ii be sure to fix that in my next chapter.....
