The Arrangement

Chapter 2

Alex finally arrived and I entered the car. " Seat belts little Robin."

" Yeah yeah yeah..." I said while putting on my seatbelt. "So is it going to be just us three? "

" Nope," he began to back out the drive way and exit my division.
" Akiko and her brother will be there too."

Akiko had a brother? How she explained her life,you'd think she was the only child.
" Since when did she have a brother?"

" Since forever. I'm sure she'll tell you the rest later."
I thought about who her brother could be, someone from the area maybe, but since Akiko is going to be there, I already know it's going to be fun!

As we continued driving, the unfamiliar close area caught my attention. Has this always been here?
" We're here." He said while pulling into the drive way of a pretty average looking house.
We got out the car, closed the car doors, and walked over to the entrance then knocked.
It took about 10 seconds before the 5'11, black haired and brown eyed guy, wearing his normal bad boy look of his favorite black leather jacket, cameo print shirt and jeans with chains hanging on his side, came to open the door.
" Took ya long enough." He looked over to me and let a tiny smile appear.
" Look who decided to come see me. Miss me much?"

" In your dreams." I smirked and he laughed while holding the door wide open.

"Come on in you two."

We walked inside and his surprisingly neat house and a happy Akiko greeted me.

" Robiny!" Akiko jumped into my arms and forced my body to spin on impact.
" Alex!" She latched off of me and onto Alex whose next to me.
She was about 5'4 with red hair and hazel brown eyes, wearing a Bring Me the Horizon shirt and ripped skinny jeans.

"Hey! Akiko!" Alex spun Akiko around and she realized the height she was at and clung to him.
" Alex I think Akiko wants down now." Daniel said while laughing and Alex only spun her around purposely eventually putting her down.

" I heard your brother was here Akiko." I said looking around. " Where is he?"

She looked over towards a door and smiled. " He's in the restroom taking a call from his girlfriend I think."

" Already dumping her?" Alex said while taking off his jean jacket revealing his long sleeved stripped shirt.

" Nope, he said was gonna keep her one more week."

I looked over at there laughing faces and felt confused. I'm guessing her brother has quite the history with leaving people. I looked over at the now opened door and watched a maybe 6'0 foot tall male with slicked back brown hair, and green eyes exit the room. His style screamed fuck with me if you dare and his eyes were sharp and to the point. He was more intimidating than Alex or even Daniel, I really felt awkward.

" What?" I heard the unfamiliar voice and shook myself out of my daze and made eye contact with him.

" Oops... my bad for staring." I moved my eyes quickly then looked over to Akiko and Alex.
Alex winked at me then got up from the chair." This is Robin Driscoll, a friend of all of us."

" Robin Driscoll?" He looked over at me and tilted his head.
" Oh! your the girl Akiko must talk about."

He rubbed his fingers through his hair while closing his eyes.
" Newell Sutherland."

"Sutherland?" I looked over to Akiko noticing that they look rather different.
Akiko's last name was Asumi.

" Anyway, it's nice to meet you?"I said.

"Likewise I guess." He went over to the kitchen and poured him some gin and tonic.
" The kids should stick to drinking your orange juice." He smirked and Alex laughed. Actually now that I think about about it, Alex hasn't picked up any type of Acholic drinks in at least a year. Daniel on the other hand doesn't do it as much but we all experienced it at the same time.

Newell looked over at me observantly with his body in a sexy laid back position and slowly licked his lips.

I looked away and went over to the couch feeling a bit weird, completely unknowing of what to do.
