The Arrangement

Chapter 7

  I wonder if I could just get a break, I'm tired and want to go home.  I fell lost lately, it's been ridiculously boring since Alex and Daniel left a week ago. I still remember the last night I shared with Alex before he left. I honestly miss them.  It's back to the same old boring life just this time...work is added.
" Honey?" My mom walked passed me and showed concern.
" Are you okay love?" 

I nodded my head and sighed." I'm fine I'm just bored, they are gone after all."

She patted my back and laughed." Well I'm sure they'll be back for your birthday love.  They wouldn't miss that for the world."

" I hope..." my birthday was 2 weeks from now and I finally turn 18.  It wasn't gonna be an extravagant party but I at least wanted them there.
" Im going to get back to work mom, talk to you in a bit."
I walked off from my mother with a bit of a gloomy atmosphere and continued on with my day.

Some hours have passed and  my shift was almost over. My mom went home already and I was in charge.
" Hey." I turned around and met eyes with a  brown skin, with abnormal red eyes ,curly black hair and  wore a 3 piece navy blue suit.

" Hi sir, may I help you?" I said politely and turned towards him.

" Yes, actually you can Robin. I was was trying to find someone but we kind of got separated in this huge store and I'm afraid if he's not here someone's going to get badly injured and it won't be me."  His devilish glare frightened me and I backed up a bit unconsciously.

" Well sir... if your looking for someone you could always make an announcement over the intercom, I can show you the way."

" No that's fine," he smirked and then came closer to me.  " I was only here to talk to you, but he just would have been more civil with it."

I hesitantly backed up inch by inch and he followed closing each space. I knew this was bad I got to make a run for it.
I pushed the nearby cart into him and dashed the hell off. There is no way a guy looking at me like that wants to just have a conversation.  

"Oof!.." I bumped into something and looked up.  He was standing right in front of me.

" You know... it's really impolite to run away from someone who wants to talk to you hybrid." 
I felt a surge of pain connect to my stomach as his knee crushed my stomach, forcing me to kneel in front of him.
" Agh!"

" Oh what? Do you want to listen now?" He kneeled down to my eye level and made eye contact with me.  I saw him lick his lips and reach his hand out to lift my jaw.
" I can't hear you. Are you gonna listen now or what?"

I nodded my head and he smiled, however my breath begin to fade as his hand gripped my neck and began to strengthen.
"I feel like I really should end you.  I don't like people like you. Once you get power, you never think of anyone else. Hybrids are worthless and arrogant beings."

I let a smirk appear on my faces." Well... look at ...yourself," I tried to speak as best as I could to grab his attention.
" Your over here... playing God...  who are you to judge me and say....you are to end my life . "
I tried to keep his grip from tightening.
" Arrogant? ...Worthless?  What the fuck are you? Damn sure not worth much if your picking on a helpless girl like me."

He laughed a bit and loosened his grip.
"Maybe I am. Who knows? But I do know... that my job here is almost done."
His grip strengthen once again and he lifted me in the air by my neck throwing me roughly into the tables.
"One more." He grabbed me by the neck once again and flung me across the store till my back collide with the post behind me.
Being barely able to move and cringing in pain, I was barely able to sit my body up. My blurred vision saw him draw closer and stoop down to my level the last thing I remember was his smirk grow on his face.
