Chapter 7

A/n stuff goes down...

They all went to school the next day, and went to class. It came to the next period that Camila got the feeling that her and those 5 people went to the same class. Camila watched as people came piling into class.

She tried to see who those 5 might be as she named everyone who came in. Once the last person came in, Camila looked around the class as the teacher was not in the class yet. Everyone was either hanging out or on their phone.

Lauren, Camila pinpointed. She hadn't seen her since yesterday and hesitated to talk to her, and ended up staying put. Camila kept looking around the class, trying to decipher who else was "different."

1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. Camila had pinpointed them all. She sat down and wrote down their names, Lauren Jauregui, Perrie Edwards, Jade Thirlwall, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson.

Camila sat there wide-eyed. She had found 5 other people with her disability. She had found 5 other people with powers.

Camila smiled as she looked down and thought of talking to them later. She started to plan out a strategy in her head.

Once Camila finished her work and received her free time, she took out a piece of paper and started drawing while thinking of who to talk to first. Her goal was to know everyone in the school with powers and get everyone to escape the school with her as she knew that this school was no longer going to be safe if they were there.

Camila finished her drawing and as she set down her pencil, her heart fell. Her stomach felt uneasy and slowly hugged herself, they were being attacked, the school already turned unsafe. Camila picked up her water bottle and grasped it tight as she heard an explosion that seemed to come from the front office area.

The speaker went on, "Everyone remain calm. We are now going to go on lockdown. Teachers, do the honors of giving out orders. This is not a drill, repeating this is not a drill. Stay safe."

Everyone ran around in a panic and some were crying as some were just confused. Camila gripped her water bottle and closed her eyes, tears starting to run down. She hugged herself tightly, putting her head in her knees.

She felt a hand on her shoulder, "Camila, we need to stay calm."

Camila turned around to see emerald green eyes staring back at her, it was Lauren.

Camila went back to her regular position and stood up facing Lauren. She went forward and hugged Lauren and put her head in her neck.

Lauren stumbled backwards and was startled. She looked down at the small girl latching onto her. She brung her arms around Camila's body and hugged her back. They stood like that for a good while until the teacher started giving out orders to hide in the corner of the room.

Lauren let go of Camila and grabbed her hand, walking towards the corner. They crouched down together.

"Sorry about that Lauren. I'm just s-scared." Camila stumbled with her words.

"It's alright, I'm sure we're all scared right now. As long as we stick together, we'll be fine for now." Lauren tried to convince Camila and herself.

"OK." Camila answered in a soft voice.

Camila and Lauren hugged themselves tight, both thinking of the good time to attack back.
