Chapter 18

A/n real quick before I start this chapter, happy late birthday to a girl who left the earth too early, Christina Grimmie. Knowing she is in a better place makes me happy now that at least she can ignore all the hatred in the world once and for all. Anyways, back to the story!

*Back to real time*

"Alright arses! Get away from our friends!" Liam yelled, running forward and attacking the enemies in front of them.

"We should've really thought this through before we went out and just tried knocking em out." Zayn said, swinging his bat around, smacking a dude in the face instantly knocking him out.

"Eh, nothing we can do now! Welp, Poly-Beat Down time!" Dinah smiled.

"Oh no, you guys be careful! Chee-Chee's beat down is gonna legit kill you!" Camila yelled.

Dinah screamed as she swung her stick around and threw it to the ground and started throwing punches at them left and right, taking no absolute mercy. Liam and the rest stepped back and watched as Dinah literally started tearing the enemies to shreds.

Liam's team and Lauren's watched in awe as Dinah single handedly took each person out. Once she knocked the last one out, she wiped her hands on her jeans and breathed.

"OK, we done here?" Dinah asked looking around at her friends. "What did I do?!"

"Dinah, I don't know if I wanna be your friend anymore to be honest." Ally said.

"Agreed." Everyone nodded with Ally.

"Hey! I saved y'alls lives here!" Dinah whined.

"Exactly why I'm scared of you right now." Normani said.

"Whatever. Let's get these guys." Dinah said, walking towards Camila and bending down to undo the special metal cuffs.

"You good?" Dinah asked.

"Yeah, my wrists hurt from those cuffs though. And my body feels limp from them." Camila said as she fell forward and laid onto Dinah once the cuffs came off.

"Wait, why? Why do you feel limp?" Dinah questioned.

"That metal makes special people like us weak and it takes away our powers and our powers are like our main source of energy. And I'm confused why I know this." Camila said.

"Oh gosh. It's OK Chancho, I gotchu." Dinah said, picking Camila up and carrying her.

"You guys we gotta move. There are more of them." Zayn said as he carried Jade.

"Yeah, let's just go back to a class-" Ally begun saying until Liam interrupted her.

"Wait, right here! This class is empty." He said as he picked the lock with his staff with the scissors at the end.

Liam held the door open as everyone went inside. Him and Niall shut the door and pushed an empty bookcase to block it. Everyone laid down their friends and put down their stuff. 

"There you go." Jesy said, laying Lauren down onto one of the desks. "You alright, Lauren?"

"Yeah, thanks Jesy." Lauren said in a low, deep voice that was almost inaudible to Jesy.

Meanwhile throughout the room, their friends laid them down to rest across the room, asking if they needed anything. They also set down their backpacks in a kind of pile in one of the corners of the room. Liam and his team grouped up at a table and just sat in the leftover chairs or on the ground next to their friends and just closed their eyes and hung out.

After a while, it seems everyone was asleep in the room and Louis was the first to fall asleep when he was laid down so he was the first to awake. He looked around the room and stretched in his chair. He stood up from his chair and looked around for the clock, reading it out to be around 6:30 PM.

Louis looked at Harry and thought about waking him up until he remembered what had happened before they went to sleep. So he walked quietly towards the pile of backpacks to find his and pull out his phone to pass the time.

He walked back to his seat near the windows to outside and put his earphones in, listening to music and just laying there.

Hours more passed and they all kept sleeping as Louis just sat there resting. Then he noticed Lauren moving as she woke up and stretched. She looked around the room and saw Louis looking at her.

"Morning sunshine." Louis joked.

"Shut up." Lauren laughed, "What have you been doing?"

"Just here, chilling." Louis said looking back in front of him.

"Should we get you know, ready to get out of here?" Lauren said standing up and retrieved her backpack.

"Uh, I think we should just rest here. It has been quite a day and I'm sure everyone is really tired."

"Yeah that's true. Alright then, but we should plan what we should do next. After all, I need food and my phone charger."

They both laughed as they moved their chairs closer together so they could talk whenever. They sat there in their phones, talking about random things including a plan to survive this.

A/n I noticed that I'm really close to chapter 20 and my chapters are short so I'm gonna make them longer so that whatever. Lol XD
